Description
Three red roses in a glass bud vase with foliage and dried caspia, arranged and delivered by a partner florist on the day. $92.95 including the vase. Same day delivery if you order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays.
This is a single size product. The vase is included. Your roses will be red with foliage and filler as shown. The exact bloom stage will depend on the stems available at market on the day.
What You're Sending
Three red roses. Long stemmed, bright crimson, partially open. Standing tall in a clear glass bud vase with a rounded base. Blade leaves arc upward alongside the stems. Silvery grey caspia, that dried misty filler, softens the arrangement at the midpoint. A small fern frond adds a touch of green at the base. The whole thing is vertical. It reads upward, not outward. More sculptural than a traditional bunch.
The vase is included. This arrives ready to display. No unwrapping, no trimming, no hunting for a container. The recipient opens the door and there it is, already arranged, already in water, already making the statement you intended.
The anonymous reviewer said it was "exactly what ordered" and his "wife was very pleased." Peter John described the arrangement as "very tidy." Troy Graymore gave it a straight "10/10." Three words, three roses, message received.
The Price
$92.95 for three roses and a vase. That's worth explaining because we sell 6 Red Roses as a hand tied bunch for $85.95 without a vase. The maths looks counterintuitive until you understand what you're paying for.
"Three roses in a bud vase is a different product from six roses in a bunch. The florist is selecting three stems that have to work from every angle because the vase is narrow and transparent. You can see everything. The stem quality, the leaf condition, the water clarity. With a hand tied bunch wrapped in paper, the presentation forgives imperfections. A bud vase hides nothing. The florist also has to arrange the foliage elements to balance in a narrow vessel, which is a different skill from building a wide spiralled bunch. And the vase itself is part of the delivery. It has to survive the journey intact. The florist wraps and transports it differently, more carefully, with more time. You're paying for the complete presentation, not per stem. The vase stays in the recipient's home long after the roses are gone. Every time they put a single stem in it months later, they'll think of you."
A Decade Of Valentine's Orders
This product has reviews dating back to 2015. Maureen, Sharon, Steven, and Anirudh all ordered that year or early 2016. Lea and Megan ordered around Valentine's 2022. Troy in February 2023. Peter John in February 2024. The anonymous reviewer in December 2025. That's ten years of people choosing three red roses in a vase and being satisfied.
This product sits deep in the range for sales. Anna has been involved with flowers professionally for over fifteen years, from hands on bench work in North Carolina to managing quality across our partner network in Australia. She sees that consistency over time as its own kind of data.
"This product will never be a top seller because three roses in a bud vase is a quiet gesture. It's not trying to fill a room or make the neighbours jealous. It's for a bedside table. A desk. A kitchen windowsill. The person who sends three red roses in a vase is usually not sending a first declaration. They're sending to someone who already knows. An anniversary. A Tuesday for no reason. A 'thinking of you' when things are hard. The top selling products are the grand gestures. This is the intimate one. It sits near the bottom of the range in sales because the occasions that call for it happen quietly, between two people, and those moments don't have a peak season."
Who Sends This One
Megan O'Connor described "wonderful service and beautiful flowers." She specifically praised the phone ordering experience, calling the person taking orders "efficient and helpful." If you'd rather talk to someone than order online, call 1300 360 469 and the Armidale team will handle it.
Valentine's Day is the obvious peak. Most of these reviews cluster around February. But the anonymous December reviewer sent it as a Christmas gesture, and the product works for that too. Anniversaries, romantic gestures, and apologies all suit a three rose presentation. Sometimes the restraint says more than abundance.
For a wife's birthday, three roses in a vase that stays on the bedside table carries a different weight from a large bunch on the dining table. For thinking of you, the scale is right. It says "I thought about you specifically" rather than "I ordered something impressive."
Anirudh noted one issue. "They apparently left the flowers in front of the door. Not sure though cause my girlfriend said that's where she found them. She liked them nonetheless." If you're worried about the delivery being left unattended, add a delivery note with safe place instructions or ask the florist to attempt a hand delivery first. Troy had the opposite experience: "wasn't home and they left it in a safe place which I like." Safe place delivery works when the instructions are clear.
For more red roses, our 6 Red Roses at $85.95 doubles the stems without a vase. For red in a mixed arrangement, browse our red flowers range. For roses in other colours, our roses range covers pink, white, and mixed. For a different flower in a vase, browse our flowers with vases range.
Care
The roses arrive in the vase, already in water. You don't need to do anything immediately. After a day or two, change the water. Gently lift the roses and foliage out, rinse the vase, refill with room temperature water, and place the stems back in. Trim a centimetre off the base of each stem while they're out of the vase, cutting at a forty five degree angle.
The bud vase has a narrow neck which naturally supports the three stems upright. As the roses open further over the first few days, the heads get heavier. If they start to lean, the narrow neck will hold them in position better than a wide mouthed vase would.
Keep the vase out of direct afternoon sun. Red rose pigment is more stable than lighter colours under UV, but heat accelerates wilting regardless of colour. A cool spot with indirect light gives the longest display.
The caspia and blade leaves will last well beyond the roses. When the rose petals start to drop, remove the roses and leave the foliage elements in the vase. They'll hold for weeks and give the vase continued purpose while you decide whether to add a single fresh stem or let the dried elements stand alone.

Delivery
Your roses are arranged in the vase and delivered by a real partner florist from our network of 800+ across Australia. We've coordinated deliveries through this network since 2009. The florist wraps the vase for transport to prevent breakage and delivers to the door.
Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. The actual cost of getting a florist to hand deliver a glass vase to a specific address is often higher, but we absorb the difference.
Same day delivery if you order before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays. Peter John confirmed "on time delivery." Bernie's experience was "quick delivery." No Sunday deliveries. Flower markets close Saturday afternoon.
Lea Luscombe called it "awesome customer service" with a "very professional" website. Sharon described "good and reliable service." Steven gave it "10 out of 10. No problems, no hassles." When reviews from 2015 and 2025 sound the same, the service hasn't drifted.

Substitution Policy
Three red roses. The roses will always be red roses. The vase will always be a clear glass bud vase, though the exact shape may vary slightly depending on what the florist has in stock. The foliage elements, blade leaves, fern, and dried caspia, may be substituted with similar textural foliage if specific varieties aren't available. The florist will maintain the tall, vertical presentation style and the balance between the three roses and the supporting elements. The vase is always included and always glass. If you have a preference for a specific vase style, call us on 1300 360 469 and we'll see what the florist can do.
