Description
Hot pink roses, white oriental lilies, and pale pink gerberas with feathery fern foliage, hand tied and delivered by a partner florist on the day. From $80.95 with same day delivery if you order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. Vase not included.
The photo shows the Premium size (+$31). Your bunch will follow the same pink and white colour palette with roses, lilies, and gerberas. Individual bloom sizes and exact shades may vary depending on what's freshest at market on the day. The vase shown is for display purposes and is not included.
What's In The Bunch
Roses, gerberas, and lilies. Three flower types, each one a headliner in its own right, combined in a bunch that manages to feel generous without being chaotic. The hot pink roses are fully open in the photo, layered petals catching light from every angle. The white oriental lilies sit taller, some blooms open and showing their yellow green centres, others still in tight bud with days of opening ahead. The pale pink gerberas fill the mid ground with flat, wide faces that give the eye somewhere to rest between the more complex shapes of the roses and lilies. Feathery fern fronds soften the edges and add a textural backdrop that none of the flowers could provide on their own.
This bunch has been our 3rd most popular product over the past twelve months. Anna has spent more than fifteen years making arrangements professionally, first training in North Carolina then working the bench daily in Australia. She reads sales data differently from most people.
"Roses, gerberas, and lilies. Florists call these the big three. Every wholesaler carries them. Every market has them. Every customer recognises them. That might sound like a reason to overlook them but it's actually why this bunch works so well commercially. The florist building it can source the best quality stems because competition among growers keeps the standard high. There's no rare bloom in here that the florist has to compromise on because the market was short. Every stem in this bunch is a stem the florist had five options for at the market that morning. They picked the best one. That's the advantage of a classic combination. When the ingredients are always available at their best, the finished product is consistently good. Not occasionally good. Consistently. Third in the range isn't an accident. It sells because it delivers on the promise every single time."
Tony ordered on a Friday evening and the flowers arrived Saturday morning. "Beautiful flowers which were well presented." Lisa got a phone call because her next day delivery request didn't quite work with the location, so the team sorted it. That kind of proactive communication is something our Armidale call centre handles daily.
Sizing
Four sizes. Standard starts at $80.95. Deluxe adds extra stems for $6 more. Premium at +$31 is the one in the photo, noticeably fuller with more rose and lily stems. Extra Large at +$45 makes a serious impact.
Vase is not included. We sell flowers with vases separately. For this bunch a clear glass vase lets the green stems and fern foliage show through, which adds to the overall look. The lily stems are thick so choose a vase with some weight to prevent tipping as the blooms open and the balance shifts.

Who Sends This One
Percy ordered this for Valentine's Day. The anonymous reviewer from the same weekend called it "fantastic all around" with "fresh flowers with instructions and powder for the water." Valentine's is a pressure test for any florist, and this bunch handles it well because the three flower types are all peak availability in February.
"Valentine's Day is where the gap between prepared florists and scrambling florists shows up. The good ones pre-order stock weeks ahead. They know exactly how many roses they'll need, they've secured lily stems at a locked price, and they've planned their delivery routes the night before. The average ones are fighting for whatever's left at the market on the morning of the 14th, paying double, and sending out arrangements that were built in a rush. A bunch like this, roses, gerberas, lilies, holds up under Valentine's pressure because none of the stems are hard to source even at peak demand. The florist isn't compromising. They're building with their best stock, just more of it."
But Valentine's is one week a year. The rest of the time this bunch works across a wide range. The hot pink roses give it a romantic edge that softer colours don't, making it a strong pick for anniversaries. Sharon's friend "was really happy with the flowers" as a general gift. It suits birthday flowers for a friend, for a daughter, or for a graduation where you want something that photographs well because it will end up on social media. The white lilies keep it from reading as purely romantic, which gives the sender cover if they want to keep the gesture ambiguous.
The lily fragrance is a factor. White orientals scent a room within hours. For hospital deliveries, some wards restrict scented flowers. If the recipient is in a medical setting, consider our Pastel Gerberas at $80.75 for a similar gentle palette without the fragrance. Lilies are also toxic to cats, so if the recipient has cats choose a lily free option like the Bright Mixed Gerberas at $80.75.
For a similar combination with purple roses instead of pink, the Beautiful Pastels at $80.95 adds lisianthus and spray roses. For roses on their own, browse our roses range. For something the florist picks entirely, our florist's choice range gives them full creative freedom with whatever's freshest.
Care
When the bunch arrives, unwrap it, trim all stems at a forty five degree angle with sharp scissors, and strip every leaf below the waterline. The anonymous Valentine's reviewer mentioned the bunch came with "powder for the water." That's flower food. Dissolve the sachet in the first fill of room temperature water. It contains sugar for energy, bleach to control bacteria, and citric acid to lower the pH so the stems can drink more efficiently.
Remove the lily pollen anthers from each bloom as it opens. Pinch them off before the pollen starts to powder. It prevents stains on clothes and surfaces and extends the bloom by three or four days.
The gerberas prefer shallower water than the roses and lilies. A compromise of about half the vase works for the mix. Top up between changes because gerberas drink fast and the water level drops noticeably.
Different flowers will fade at different rates. The roses typically last seven to ten days. The gerberas hold for a similar stretch if the water is kept fresh. The lilies are the long game. Each stem carries multiple buds that keep opening over seven to fourteen days. As the initial blooms and the roses start to tire, pull them out. The lily buds will keep the vase going well past the point where a simpler bunch would be finished.
Keep the bunch out of direct afternoon sun. The hot pink rose pigment fades faster in UV light than lighter shades, and the white lily petals will yellow at the edges in a sunny window.

Delivery
Your bunch is hand tied and delivered by a real partner florist from our network of 800+ across Australia. We've coordinated deliveries through this network since 2009. Made fresh on the day from market stock and hand delivered to the door.
Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. The actual cost of getting a florist to hand deliver to a specific address is often higher, but we absorb the difference.
Same day delivery if you order before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays. Tony ordered Friday evening and received Saturday morning delivery, which means his order was picked up by a florist first thing the next day. That's the system working as designed. No Sunday deliveries. Flower markets close Saturday afternoon.
Lisa's review highlights something important. She "had a phone call as I asked for next day delivery but timeframe didn't work with location delivery service." Rather than quietly failing, the team called to sort it out. That happens more often than people realise, particularly for regional or remote deliveries where the partner florist covers a wide area and the delivery window is tighter.

Substitution Policy
Roses, gerberas, and lilies are three of the most reliably available cut flowers in Australia. That reliability is part of why this bunch ranks third in the range. The florist almost always has access to quality stems in all three types on any given market day. Exact shades may vary. The roses might lean more toward deep pink or softer magenta depending on what the grower has that week. The gerberas could be pale pink or blush. The lily bloom count and bud stage will depend on what's available. What stays consistent is the three flower combination, the pink and white palette, and the generous mixed style. On the rare occasion a florist can't source one of the three, they'll substitute with a stem of equal or greater value that holds the colour balance. If you need a specific flower included or excluded, call us on 1300 360 469 and the instruction goes directly to the florist.
