Care

When the bunch arrives, unwrap it, trim all stems at a forty five degree angle with sharp scissors, and strip every leaf below the waterline. Room temperature water for the first fill, about two thirds of the vase. Change it every two to three days.

The delphinium is the most delicate element. It prefers cool water and a position away from direct sun or heat sources. The blue florets will fade first, typically within five to seven days. The roses hold for seven to twelve days. The lily buds open sequentially over seven to fourteen days, building fragrance as they go.

Remove the lily pollen anthers from each bloom as it opens. Lily pollen stains fabric and surfaces. The yellow powder on white rose petals is especially visible.

Keep the chocolates in a cool spot away from direct sunlight. During summer deliveries, the florist should transport them away from the flowers to avoid heat damage, but check the box on arrival. If any pieces have softened, twenty minutes in the fridge restores them.

Your flowers are hand tied and delivered alongside the chocolates by a real partner florist from our network of 800+ across Australia. We've coordinated deliveries through this network since 2009. The florist packages both items and delivers to the door.

Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. The actual cost of getting a florist to hand deliver flowers and chocolates to a specific address is often higher, but we absorb the difference.

Substitution Policy

White roses are available year round. White oriental lilies are reliably sourced. The blue delphinium is the variable element. Delphinium supply tightens during peak summer heat because the stems are fragile and don't tolerate temperature extremes in the supply chain. If blue delphinium isn't available, the florist may substitute with blue iris, blue thistle, or blue statice to maintain the blue and white palette. The blue element will always be natural blue rather than dyed. The chocolates will always be a quality box but the brand varies by partner florist.
