Description
A pink bunch of mixed flowers including gerberas, lisianthus, carnations, and a single white rose, hand tied and delivered by a partner florist on the day. From $79.95 with same day delivery if you order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. Vase not included.
The photo shows the Premium size (+$31). Your bunch will follow the same pink colour palette with a mix of seasonal blooms. Individual flower varieties and shades of pink may vary depending on what's freshest at market on the day. The vase shown is for display purposes and is not included.
What's In The Bunch
Pink everything. The photo shows pink gerberas, pink lisianthus with ruffled petals and unopened buds, pink carnations, variegated pittosporum foliage, and one cream white rose bud standing taller than the rest. That single pale rose is a deliberate choice. It gives the eye somewhere to land against all the pink. Without it the bunch would blend into itself. With it, there's a focal point.
Each flower in this mix does something different. The gerberas are bold, flat faced, and catch attention from across a room. The lisianthus adds softness and layers, with those tissue thin petals that keep unfolding over the first few days as buds open. The carnations fill the middle ground with dense, ruffled texture that photographs well and lasts longer than most people expect. Anna, who spent fifteen years as a working florist before joining us, says carnations are the most underestimated flower in the industry. "People dismiss carnations. They shouldn't. A well conditioned carnation will outlast a rose by a week. They hold colour, they don't shed, and they fill out a bunch in a way that makes it look twice the price."
The variegated foliage, that cream and green edged leaf visible throughout the bunch, adds contrast without competing with the flowers. It's a professional touch that separates a florist made bunch from something assembled at a supermarket.
Sizing
Four sizes. Standard starts at $79.95. Deluxe adds extra stems for $6 more. Premium at +$31 is the one shown in the photo, noticeably fuller and more layered. Extra Large at +$45 is a serious bunch, the kind that makes someone stop when they open the door.
Vase is not included. We sell flowers with vases separately. For an all pink bunch like this, a clear glass vase or a simple white ceramic works best. Anything too colourful and the vase competes with the flowers.

Who Sends This One
Birthdays lead the way. Pink is celebratory without being romantic, which gives it range. Janet ordered this from Canada for her twin granddaughters' birthdays. "I live in Canada and was very happy to find Lily's Flowers in Australia. The flowers were delivered the day I ordered them and they were beautiful. My granddaughters were excited to have flowers delivered to them on their birthday." That review tells you two things. First, the international ordering works. Second, the bunch landed well enough that the granddaughters were excited, not just polite.
Brenda's recipient "was extremely happy with her flowers." Victoria said it "lived up to its name." Lesley, who was "anxious as I had not used you before," ended up having her "anxious thoughts turned into happy ones." The pattern across these reviews is consistent: people worry before ordering, then the flowers arrive and the worry disappears. That's what the partner florist network is designed to do.
This bunch also works well for new baby deliveries, particularly for baby girls. But there's something worth knowing if you're sending flowers to someone with a newborn.
"New baby flowers need to be fuss free. Nothing that sheds petals near a cot, nothing with intense scent that might bother the baby, nothing that needs constant attention. New parents are not going to be trimming stems and changing water every two days. This bunch works because gerberas and carnations are both low scent and low shed. The lisianthus can drop petals as it ages so keep an eye on it once the blooms are fully open, but the rest is low maintenance. If you're sending to a hospital, consider our boxed arrangements instead since there's no vase to deal with and the nurse won't have to find one."
Other occasions that suit this palette: thank you, congratulations, get well, or just because. For something less pink and more versatile, the Lovely Lilac and Lime at $79.95 adds purple and green into the mix. For something the florist picks entirely based on what's freshest, the Florist's Choice Bright Mixed at $79.95 gives them full creative freedom. Browse our full pink flowers range for more.
Care
When the bunch arrives, remove the pink wrapping, trim all stems at a forty five degree angle with sharp scissors, and strip every leaf below the waterline. Room temperature water for the first fill, about two thirds of the vase. Change it every two to three days.
Keep them out of direct afternoon sun. Pink flowers fade faster in sunlight than you'd expect. The gerberas in particular will bleach from hot pink to a washed out salmon if they're sitting in a west facing window for two days.
The carnations will outlast everything else in the bunch. When the roses and lisianthus start to fade, pull them out. The carnations and gerberas will carry the vase for several more days on their own. Gerberas prefer shallow water (about 5 to 8 centimetres) because their hollow stems can waterlog and soften in deep water.
One more thing worth knowing, particularly if you're in a humid part of Australia.
"Grey mould shows up overnight if you're not careful. One day the petals look perfect, next morning there's fuzzy grey patches. It's a fungus called botrytis and the spores are everywhere. They activate when conditions are right: warm, humid, no air movement. If the bunch is sitting in a closed room with no airflow on a humid summer day, that's exactly what it wants. Light coloured flowers like these pinks show it more visibly than dark stems. Keep some air circulating near the flowers if you can. Even a slightly open window makes a difference. And don't mist the petals in humid weather because that moisture sitting on the surface is where the mould takes hold."

Delivery
Your bunch is hand tied and delivered by a real partner florist from our network of 800+ across Australia. We've been running this network since 2009. Made fresh on the day from market stock and hand delivered to the door.
Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. The actual cost of getting a florist to hand deliver to a specific address is often higher, but we absorb the difference. Janet's order from Canada was delivered the same day she ordered it. International customers order through the website the same way Australian customers do. The only difference is the time zone, so check our cutoff times against your local clock.
Same day delivery if you order before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays. No Sunday deliveries. Flower markets close Saturday afternoon, and any florist delivering on a Sunday is working with Friday stock.
Need to change something after ordering? Email [email protected], call us on 1300 360 469 (Mon to Fri, 7am to 6pm, Sat 7am to 12pm), or use live chat. If something isn't right with the delivery, get in touch within 24 hours with a photo and we'll sort it out.

Substitution Policy
With a mixed bunch like this, some flowers may change depending on what's available at market on the day. Carnations and gerberas are among the most reliably sourced flowers year round so those elements tend to hold. Lisianthus is widely available but can thin out in some regions at certain times. The single white rose is a florist's design choice, so the exact placement and bloom stage may differ. What won't change is the overall pink colour palette and the mixed, generous style shown. Any flower substituted will be of equal or greater value and will sit within the same colour range. If you need specific flowers included or excluded, add a note to your order or call us on 1300 360 469 and we'll pass the instruction directly to the florist.
