This version at $121.95 adds the teddy bear and birthday balloon. It costs $22 more than the vase only version and $21 more than either wine version. The price difference buys you two physical items and one very specific thing: the word "birthday" floating above the bouquet on a helium balloon visible from the street. If it's a birthday, this is the version. If it's anything other than a birthday, one of the other three will fit better.

Care

The flowers arrive arranged in a glass vase, already in water. Top up the water level daily. Roses drink steadily and the level drops faster than you'd expect in the first two days. Change the water completely every two to three days. Lift the arrangement out carefully, rinse the vase, refill with clean water. Bacteria builds in still water and blocks the stems from drawing moisture.

Pull any stems that have clearly finished rather than leaving them to decay among the others. The remaining flowers will spread into the space.

Keep the vase away from direct sunlight and away from the fruit bowl. Sun accelerates colour fade in the roses. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which triggers premature petal drop.

The purple statice dries naturally. When the roses finish, the statice can be removed and kept as a dried element. It holds its purple colour for months without water.

The helium balloon will float for roughly 24 to 48 hours depending on temperature. After that it gradually settles. Some people tie it to a chair or doorhandle as decoration for the rest of the birthday week.

Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. The actual cost of a hand delivery carrying a glass vase, a teddy bear, and a helium balloon that wants to escape at every gust of wind is higher than a standard bunch, but we absorb the difference.

Same day delivery if you order before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays. Daniel confirmed his order was "delivered to the doorstep as requested" the next day. The flowers in this product are built around colour impact, not a fixed recipe. Your florist works with whatever is boldest and freshest at market on the morning of delivery. Roses are available year round and will always form the backbone. The purple accent, typically statice, could be swapped for purple aster or lisianthus if statice is short that week. If seasonal tulips appear in the mix, they may be replaced with gerberas, spray roses, or alstroemeria during months when tulips aren't at market. Every substitution will be of equal or greater value. The florist protects the overall impact: six distinct colours, bold and bright, filling the vase. The teddy bear is sourced locally and the colour and style may vary from the image. The balloon will say "Happy Birthday" but the specific design may differ.
