Edgecliff is a small suburb in Sydney that’s very near the central business district. Surrounding the area are the suburbs of Darling Point, Darlinghurst, Double Bay and Woollahra. Edgecliff is the home of the famous Ascham School which is a boarding school for girls established in 1886. The Sydney Grammar School for boys which was incorporated in 1854 also has a campus in Edgecliff.
The main commercial area in the suburb is located on New South Head Road. Edgecliff Eastpoint is a shopping centre above the railway station.
