Chiswick sits quietly along the Lane Cove River, tucked between Drummoyne and Five Dock, and we've been delivering beautiful flowers to this peaceful riverside suburb for over 15 years now. Back when we were running our little florist shop in Kingscliff, we'd get calls from people wanting to send flowers to their loved ones in Chiswick. Those calls, along with requests for dozens of other Sydney suburbs, eventually sparked the idea that became Lily's Florist.
Our Chiswick Foundation Story
The path to Chiswick flower delivery started with that old Yellow Pages advertisement we inherited when we bought our shop. Remember those heavy books? Well, one still existed in 2007, and it brought us call after call from people across Australia wanting flowers delivered to places we'd never even heard of. Chiswick was one of those early requests that made us think differently about how flowers could reach people.
After months of saying "sorry, we can't deliver there," we had our lightbulb moment. What if we partnered with florists in these areas?
