Order Fresh Flowers to Milsons Point Today

Lily's Florist delivers fresh, hand arranged flowers to Milsons Point and surrounding Sydney Harbour suburbs like North Sydney, through our network of over 800 Australian partner florists. Order online or call 1300 360 469. Same day delivery available when you order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. Delivery is $16.95, which we subsidise as actual courier costs in harbourside suburbs often run higher. We're Siobhan and Andrew, an Australian family who started this business from a tiny shop in Kingscliff NSW back in 2006, and Sydney is where Andrew grew up. We house swap with his cousin Paul in Milsons Point once a year, so this page has a story behind it.

How to Order Flowers to Milsons Point

Ordering takes about 2 minutes. Browse our arrangements on the website, pick your bouquet, enter the Milsons Point delivery address at checkout, select your date, and add a gift card message if you like. You can also call us on 1300 360 469 and one of our Australian based team will take your order over the phone. We answer calls Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturdays 7am to 12.30pm. No account needed, one page checkout, done.

Refined chalkboard infographic showing the 3-step process: You Order, We Connect, They Deliver with No Boxes.

* A visual guide to our model: We connect your order to a real local florist who hand-delivers. No overnight post, no wilted petals in cardboard boxes.

When your order comes through we route it to one of our Sydney partner florists based on the recipient's postcode and what stock they have available that day. Real florists, real shops, real expertise. Your flowers are made fresh that morning and hand delivered by local couriers who know the Milsons Point streets, the apartment buildings, the concierge desks. If nobody's home they'll find a safe spot out of direct sun or call the recipient to arrange.

Milsons Point is a small suburb. Looking at our order data, it represents about 0.05% of our weekly Sydney deliveries, which makes sense given the postcode covers maybe a dozen streets between the bridge and Luna Park. We're not going to pretend it's a major delivery hub for us. But the personal connection means something. When a Milsons Point order comes through, there's a little part of me that pictures those apartment balconies overlooking the harbour, wonders if it's going to one of the buildings near Paul's place, hopes the recipient gets that same view of the Opera House lit up at night that stopped Andrew mid sentence the first time he saw it.

The Milsons Point Connection

My name is Siobhan, I run Lily's Florist with my partner Andrew, and Milsons Point has a funny little place in our story.

Lily's Florist family photo in 2026 featuring Siobhan, Andrew, and daughters Asha and Ivy.

* Our family in 2026. Andrew and I have been making business decisions at the dinner table since Asha was a baby. Today, the girls help us keep things grounded.

Andrew grew up in Sydney, actually Dad was in Strathfield and Mum in Summer Hill. Drummoyne mostly in his 20's. My cousin Paul still lives in Sydney, has done since moving from Parkes after school, and about 12 years ago Paul and his partner bought an apartment in Milsons Point. One of those older brick buildings on Alfred Street South, nothing fancy from the outside, but the views from the balcony stop you mid sentence. You look out and there's the Harbour Bridge so close you can hear the trains rattling across, the Opera House lit up at night, ferries cutting white lines through the water below. Andrew stood on that balcony the first time we visited and just went quiet for a bit, which if you know him, doesn't happen often. Then went on to tell Ivy how him and his mate Dave used to jump ferry waves in Dave's tinnie and how he was fairly certain that kids would probably would not do that these days, with a laugh.

We started doing a house swap with Paul and his family about 8 years ago. They come up to Kingscliff for a week in summer, swim in Cudgen Creek, eat at Taverna, let their kids run around on the beach. We drive down to Sydney, usually in the quieter months, stay in their Milsons Point apartment, and remember what city life feels like for a few days. The kids love catching the ferry from Milsons Point Wharf across to Circular Quay. Ivy, our youngest who turns 15 in February, likes to stand at the back and watch the wake spread out behind the boat. Asha, who just finished Year 12 and turns 19 in May, prefers to sit inside and scroll her phone, but even she looks up when we pass under the bridge.

So when you order flowers to Milsons Point through Lily's Florist, there's a bit of us in that delivery. We know those steep streets running down to the harbour. We've walked past Luna Park more times than I can count, grabbed coffee from that little place near the station, watched the sun set from Blues Point Reserve. It's not our hometown but it's become part of our story, and that matters to us.

Three Flowers That Work Beautifully in Milsons Point

I asked Anna about this one. Anna has been with us for over 15 years, started as a florist in our early days when we were still working out of our garage in Pottsville, and now handles our books but still knows more about flowers than anyone in the building.

Native Australian arrangements work particularly well in Milsons Point according to Anna. "Banksias, proteas, leucadendrons, they hold up brilliantly in apartment environments," Anna says, Qualified Florist with 15 plus years experience. "Most Milsons Point deliveries go to apartments with climate control, and natives actually prefer that stable temperature. They're also not fussy about vase water the way roses can be. A good native arrangement will look strong for two weeks easily, sometimes longer. The stems are woody so they don't get slimy, and the colours, those burnt oranges and dusty pinks, look gorgeous against harbour views through a window."

White and green arrangements suit the aesthetic of a lot of Milsons Point apartments too. "Clean lines, modern spaces, they call for flowers that don't fight with the decor," Anna explains. "White roses, white lisianthus, white oriental lilies if the recipient likes fragrance, mixed through with different foliage textures. Monstera leaves, ruscus, eucalyptus. The green and white palette feels sophisticated without being stuffy. I always tell people, if you don't know someone's taste, you can't go wrong with white and green. It works in every room, every style of home."

Seasonal mixed bouquets are her third recommendation, with a caveat. "The best value and the freshest flowers are always whatever's in season right now," Anna says. "Spring in Sydney means ranunculus, anemones, tulips if you're lucky, beautiful soft pastels. Summer brings dahlias, sunflowers, lots of bright garden style blooms. Autumn and winter you're looking at more roses, chrysanthemums, stock with that gorgeous scent. I'd always suggest letting the florist work with what came in fresh that morning rather than requesting something specific that might have travelled a long way. Freshness matters more than getting exactly the flower you pictured."

Australian Family Owned, Real Partner Florists

We've been doing this since 2009 and the model hasn't changed much. We don't own warehouses. We don't bulk buy flowers from overseas and ship them through Australia Post overnight. We partner with real florist shops, over 800 of them now across Australia, mum and dad businesses like ours with trained florists and local couriers.

* Where it all began in 2006. This tiny shop taught us that the only way to deliver fresh flowers is to keep it local and support real florists.

When you order flowers to Milsons Point your order goes to one of our Sydney partners. They source from local flower markets, make your arrangement fresh that day, and deliver it themselves or through couriers they know and trust. If something goes wrong we're here to fix it. You can actually call us and talk to a person, which apparently is unusual these days.

Our call centre is in Armidale NSW. All Australian staff, no offshore teams, no bots pretending to be human. We're available 6 days a week by phone, email, or live chat. Our contact details are easy to find on the website because we actually want you to call us if you need to.

What Our Customers Say

In 2019 we partnered with Feefo, an independent review platform endorsed by Google. The way it works is simple. After you order flowers from us, Feefo (not us) sends you an email asking about your experience. We can't edit reviews, delete bad ones, or get our mates to write nice things. Every review comes from a verified customer who actually ordered flowers.

We've had over 21,000 reviews since we started with Feefo. In 2024 and again in 2025 we received their Trusted Service Award, which requires at least 50 reviews with an average of 4 stars or higher. Last year we had over 3,000 reviews and the vast majority were 4 or 5 stars.

Feefo Trusted Service Award 2025 badge for Lily's Florist Australia.

* Verified trust. Our 2024 and 2025 awards are built on over 22,600 honest reviews from real customers who actually sent flowers.

Flowers are subjective, that's the thing. Three people can look at the same bouquet and see three different things. Putting ourselves out there with a fully independent review system was a risk, but we wanted the feedback. Good and bad, it helps us improve.

Siobhan and Andrew have run Lily's Florist since buying a tiny flower shop in Kingscliff NSW in 2006. What started as a sea change decision with a baby on the way and zero floristry experience has grown into a network of over 800 partner florists across Australia. They still live in Kingscliff with their daughters Asha (18) and Ivy (14), still make business decisions at the dinner table, and still answer customer emails personally when the team needs backup. Siobhan's cousin Paul lives in Milsons Point and the family visits most years for a house swap. Siobhan wrote this page.
