Same Day Delivery - Miranda Wide
Same day flower delivery to Miranda. Order by 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. Call 1300 360 469 or order online. Delivery is $16.95. We're Lily's Florist, Australian family owned since 2006, working with over 800 partner florists across the country. Real shops, trained florists, flowers made fresh that morning. Andrew grew up in Sydney. Strathfield, Summer Hill, summers fishing at Bronte with his Poppa George. The Sutherland Shire was always that stretch south he passed through heading to the Royal National Park. Now we send flowers there every day.
Andrew and I were living in Drummoyne in 2006. Both working events and marketing jobs, expecting our first baby, trying to figure out what came next. Miranda is exactly the kind of suburb we might have ended up in. Good schools, Westfield down the road, beaches at Cronulla twenty minutes away, family homes with backyards. The suburban life trajectory that makes sense when you're starting a family.
Instead we drove across an old rickety timber bridge into Kingscliff one afternoon and saw a florist shop with a small "For Sale" sign in the window. We bought it against our accountant's advice. We knew nothing about flowers.

* This is what we chose instead of the Shire. A florist shop we had no idea how to run, 800km north of Miranda.
Eighteen years later, we coordinate flower deliveries to places like Miranda from our office in Armidale. The people ordering flowers to the Shire are often living the life we detoured from. There's something about that worth acknowledging. We don't have a Miranda memory. We have a Sydney memory. And Miranda was always part of that map, even if we never settled there ourselves.
Partner florists in the Sutherland Shire handle Miranda orders. Real shops with flower coolers and wholesale market access. Your flowers get made that morning, not boxed in a warehouse and posted overnight.
Same day delivery if ordered by 2pm weekdays, 10am Saturdays. Business addresses by 5pm, homes by 6pm. Delivery fee is $16.95. Most deliveries cost more than that to complete. We subsidise the difference.
Miranda has a mix. The areas near Westfield have more apartments and townhouses. Older family homes spread further out toward Sylvania and Gymea. Anna, who trained as a florist for fifteen years before joining us, always said apartment deliveries need different thinking. "Hallways are dark and warm. Flowers left at a door in a poorly ventilated corridor can lose a full day of vase life. I'd rather a florist call ahead than leave something wilting outside unit 47."
Sympathy flowers head to Sutherland Hospital more often than you'd think. Anna tends toward soft creams and muted greens for sympathy. "White is the default, but it can feel clinical. A warm cream or peach softens things. You only learn that after making hundreds of sympathy arrangements." Our sympathy flowers are designed with this in mind.
Hospital deliveries work best with boxed arrangements. No vase needed, no scissors required, fits on those cramped bedside tables. Our get well range is built for exactly this.
Birthdays and celebrations: the Florist's Choice at $71.95 lets the local florist select the freshest seasonal stems that morning. Takes the guesswork out of it.
Not sure what to send? Call 1300 360 469. Real people, Australian team. We'll figure it out together.
Anna, who spent fifteen years as a working florist before joining us, explains why we don't push the cutoff later like some competitors.
"Flowers are alive. They're burning through their energy stores all day, faster when it's warm. Metabolic rate in cut stems peaks during early afternoon when delivery vans are at their hottest. A bouquet that's been sitting in a van for three hours during that window has lost vase life you can't get back. Two days, sometimes three. The 2pm cutoff means arrangements travel before that spike hits, and they're in water in a cool room by the time it does."
Saturday cutoff is 10am because flower markets close Saturday afternoon. There's no fresh Sunday stock. Any flowers we'd send on Sunday would be Friday's stock with three days of age already on them. We'd rather not offer that than pretend it's the same product.
One review stuck with us: "Put Caringbah instead of Lilli Pilli. Delivery person text to confirm house before delivery. I appreciated that as it was a sympathy gift. Grew up in Caringbah so I like to support a local."
That's the Shire in one sentence. People who grew up there, moved away, still wanting to send flowers back home. They notice when the driver double checks the address. They appreciate the small things.
We received a Feefo Trusted Service Award in 2024, 2025, and 2026. Over 23,000 verified reviews. Service rating 4.1 out of 5. Product rating 4.7 out of 5.

* 23,000 reviews from people sending flowers back to places like the Shire. This is what that trust looks like.
Your order comes to our team, who route it to a partner florist covering Miranda and the Sutherland Shire. That florist makes the arrangement fresh, then delivers it the same day.

* Your Miranda order goes to a Sutherland Shire florist who makes it that morning. Not a warehouse. Not a box in the post.
If something goes wrong: email [email protected] or call 1300 360 469. Send photos of both sides of the arrangement within 24 hours. We'll sort it out.
Need to change your order? Same contact details. We can update delivery instructions, card messages, or timing if you catch us early enough.
Andrew grew up catching bream off the rocks at Bronte with his Poppa George. Riding bikes around Earlwood with his mate Dave. Eating ham and pineapple pizza at the Belfield Pizza Hut, which he swears was the first in Australia and definitely his first encounter with free soft drink refills. Sydney is in the bones.
Miranda gets flowers from us every day now. The sea change didn't cut the connection. Just changed how it works.

* The family we raised on the detour from Sydney. Hobart, 2024. Asha was a baby when we bought that Kingscliff shop.
Andrew & Siobhan have run Lily's Florist since 2006. What started as a tiny shop in Kingscliff (bought with no flower experience and against their accountant's advice) grew into a network of 800+ partner florists across Australia. They still make business decisions at the dinner table, often between netball runs and school pickups. Their daughters Asha and Ivy have grown up in the business.
