Same Day Delivery - Neutral Bay Wide
My name is Siobhan, and I run Lily's Florist with my partner Andrew. We're a family business based in Kingscliff, Northern NSW, and we've been sending flowers across Australia since 2009 through a network of over 800 partner florists. Andrew grew up in Sydney. Strathfield, Summer Hill, the inner west. After he finished school he had no car, and the only way he could get his hands on one was to drive his Mum to work every morning and pick her up every afternoon. She worked in a pharmacy on Military Road in Neutral Bay.
The car was a Mitsubishi Mirage. Love aqua. Andrew describes the colour as somewhere between a nappy bag and a pair of your grandmother's curtains. He was eighteen. He found it, in his words, rather emasculating. But he needed wheels, so he swallowed his pride, drove Ann to Military Road five mornings a week, then spent the day with the car before collecting her that evening. He knows that road well. The crawl through traffic, the strip of shops, the left into the pharmacy car park. He sat in that traffic hundreds of times.
Our daughter Asha, who finished Year 12 last year and turns 19 in May, recently had her Poppa buy her an MG ZS. Brand new. A few months ago. Andrew still brings it up. "I had a love aqua Mirage. She gets an MG." The generational gap in that family is something else.
"I had a love aqua Mirage. She gets an MG."

* Our family in 2026. Siobhan and I started Lily's in Kingscliff when Asha was a baby. We still coordinate 800 plus partners from our dinner table.
I tell that story because it is important to us and for this page. When we write about Neutral Bay, we're not working from a suburb profile we found online. Andrew physically drove Military Road five days a week for close to two years. He knows where the traffic banks up near Ben Boyd Road. He knows the pharmacy his Mum walked into every morning. That kind of familiarity with a suburb is the sort of thing you can't fake, even if the car he arrived in was a colour he'd rather forget.
We're an Australian owned and operated family business. Two kids, Asha and Ivy (who turns 15 this month and plays representative netball). Most of our decisions are still made at the dinner table or on the way to training. You can read the longer version of how we went from buying a tiny florist in Kingscliff against our accountant's advice to building a network of over 800 partner florists on our About Us page.
We hired Anna because she'd spent fifteen years making flowers and we hadn't spent fifteen minutes. She trained in North Carolina, moved to Australia, and worked as a florist at a small boutique shop in Kingscliff before joining us. She's our bookkeeper now, but her floristry knowledge still runs through everything we do.
"Neutral Bay is mostly apartments," Anna says. "Walk ups, older brick buildings, newer complexes along Military Road. When I think about arranging for apartment deliveries, I think about proportion. A tall, wide bouquet that fans out might look incredible in a house with a big dining table, but it overwhelms a small apartment kitchen bench. I'd recommend a compact vase arrangement or a boxed arrangement. They travel better in lifts, they sit neatly on smaller surfaces, and they don't topple when someone brushes past in a hallway."
"The other thing with apartments is air conditioning. Most modern units run aircon constantly, which drops the humidity to around thirty percent. Flowers dehydrate faster in dry air. If someone receives an arrangement in a heavily air conditioned apartment, I'd say keep them away from the direct airflow and top up the water every second day rather than every three. That alone can add four or five days to the vase life."
When you order flowers to Neutral Bay through us, your order goes to one of our partner florists in the Lower North Shore area. They're an actual shop with real florists who know the apartment buildings, the concierge desks, and the best way to get a vase arrangement safely to a fourth floor walk up. No Australia Post. No boxes sitting in a depot. Fresh flowers, made that morning, delivered by hand.

* How it works. You order, we connect with a local Neutral Bay florist, they deliver fresh. No post. No boxes.
Neutral Bay sits between the office towers of North Sydney and the harbourside homes of Cremorne and Mosman. A lot of our orders here go to workplaces along Military Road or to apartments in the surrounding streets. Here's what works well for this area.
A workplace thank you or a gift for someone who helped you out. Our thank you flowers range includes bright mixed arrangements that lift a reception desk or a colleague's workspace. If you're sending to an office, include the company name and the recipient's full name on the card. Our partner florists have learned that reception staff often can't track down "Sarah" when there are 200 people in the building.
Royal North Shore Hospital is a short drive from Neutral Bay, and we send a lot of get well flowers to patients and homes recovering nearby. Anna recommends low fragrance stems for hospital rooms. Lisianthus and tulips work better than heavily scented lilies in clinical environments because the pollen count is lower and the scent won't compete with medical equipment in a small shared ward. A boxed arrangement is practical too, because hospital rooms rarely have a vase, scissors, or counter space.
A vase arrangement means it goes straight onto the table without any fussing around for a container. Our anniversary flowers and love and romance range include red roses, soft pinks, and mixed arrangements. If the recipient lives in one of Neutral Bay's smaller apartments, a compact vase arrangement makes more sense than a sprawling bouquet that takes over the only bench space they have.
Some of our best orders have no reason behind them. A just because delivery on a Wednesday afternoon can shift someone's entire week. Bright mixed bunches work beautifully for this. No card message needed if you don't want one. Sometimes flowers say enough on their own.
Our Florist's Choice at $71.95 lets the partner florist build something from whatever is freshest that morning. It's one of our most popular options because the florist has creative freedom and you get the best value. If you're working to a tighter budget, our flowers under $60 range is a good starting point. Or call us on 1300 360 469 and we'll help you pick.
Online: Browse our arrangements, pick your bouquet, enter the Neutral Bay delivery address at checkout, select your date, and add a gift card message. One page checkout, no account needed, takes about two minutes.
By phone: Call 1300 360 469. Our Australian based team answers Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm, Saturdays 7am to 12.30pm. Real people, not a phone tree.
Same day cutoff: Order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. The 2pm cutoff exists because afternoon temperatures inside delivery vehicles can push past 40 degrees in summer. Cut flowers have a metabolic rate that spikes in heat, burning through their sugar reserves and losing vase life by the hour. Getting your arrangement made and delivered before that thermal peak means longer lasting flowers.
No Sunday delivery: Flower markets close Saturday afternoon. Any florist delivering on a Sunday is using Friday stock, which has already lost roughly 30% of its vase life before it reaches you. We'd rather be honest about that than offer a service that disappoints.
Delivery fee: $16.95, which we subsidise. The actual cost of getting flowers hand delivered across Sydney's Lower North Shore is often higher, especially when it involves apartment buildings with concierge systems and multi level access.
Our reviews are managed by Feefo, an independent review platform endorsed by Google. Only verified customers who have actually purchased flowers can leave a review. We cannot edit them, delete them, or get anyone to write one for us. That transparency is the whole point. It keeps us honest and it gives you a genuine picture of what to expect. You can read all our reviews on our Feefo page.
Once your order comes through, we route it to one of our partner florists in the Neutral Bay area based on the recipient's postcode and what stock the florist has available that day. They source, prepare, and deliver your arrangement the same day if you've ordered within the cutoff window. If the arrangement doesn't meet your expectations, we need to hear from you within 24 hours. Email us photos of both sides of the flowers at [email protected], or call 1300 360 469, or use the live chat on our website. We'll work with you and the florist to get it sorted.
We deliver right across the Lower North Shore and surrounding areas. If your recipient is in Cremorne, Mosman, North Sydney, Crows Nest, Kirribilli, Cammeray, or Artarmon, we have partner florists covering those areas too. Same ordering process, same cutoff times, same fresh flowers made that morning.
