Description
One long stem red rose with a box of assorted chocolates and a teddy bear, wrapped with foliage, a personalised gift card, and hand delivered by a partner florist on the day. $83.95 with same day delivery if you order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays.
Wrapping colour, chocolate brand, and teddy bear style may vary from the image. Your partner florist sources the chocolates and teddy locally so what you see in the photo is representative, not exact. Rose colour is red.
What You're Getting
Three things in one delivery. A long stem red rose, a box of assorted chocolates, and a soft teddy bear. All of it wrapped, carded with your personal message, and hand delivered to the door by a partner florist from our network of 800+ across Australia.
The rose lasts seven to ten days with proper care. The chocolates last an evening if the recipient has any willpower at all. The teddy stays. It ends up on a bed, a shelf, a desk. Months from now when the rose is long gone the bear is still sitting there, and every time the recipient notices it they remember the day it arrived and who sent it.
Clayton has ordered this product twice, both times in February, both times around Valentine's Day. His 2025 review: "Terrific Florist. Great service. Very happy with all aspects of what they did for me." A repeat buyer at Valentine's is the strongest signal a product can get. If it had disappointed the first time, there wouldn't have been a second order.
The Rose
Single stem, long, red. Same rose as our single wrapped red rose at $42.95. The partner florist selects the best stem available from their market stock on the morning of delivery. One rose means one chance to get it right. No other stems to hide behind if the selection is average.
The rose arrives wrapped. You'll need a small vase, a tall glass, or a jar at home. Cut the stem at about forty five degrees, strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline, and use room temperature water. Change it every couple of days. If you'd rather have the vase sorted, our Single Rose In Glass Vase at $62.50 arrives ready to display. No chocolates or teddy with that one though.
Why This One Costs What It Does
Annette's review is honest and worth addressing directly: "flower was beautiful and Teddy and chocolates but very expensive for so little." She's right that a single rose is a single rose. If you want maximum flowers per dollar, this product is the wrong choice and we'd point you to our Florist's Choice Bunch at $74.50 or the Deal of the Day at $75.25 instead. Both give you a full bunch of flowers for less money.
But the people who buy this product aren't counting stems. They're sending a gift. The rose covers the gesture. The chocolates cover the evening. The teddy covers the keepsake. Three items, each doing a different job, each landing at a different moment in the receiving experience. Hayley called the range "amazing" and "reasonable priced" in her May 2025 review. Johnny, ordering for Valentine's 2024, confirmed it "delivered on what it says."
"When I worked at Salt in Kingscliff, the combo gift orders always came from a specific buyer. Someone walks in and they don't know what to get. They know it needs to feel like more than a single flower but they're not confident enough to pick a bouquet. So they add. Chocolates feel safe. A teddy feels personal. Three items, three different jobs. The rose is the gesture, the chocolates are the evening, and the teddy is still sitting on a shelf in six months. That's why people come back to this one year after year."
The pattern in the reviews backs this up. Clayton ordered twice. Garry described it as "excellent service, easy to order from." Mark confirmed the delivery was made on time. These are people who wanted the complete package, not people comparing stem counts.
Who Sends This One
Five of the seven reviews were left in February. That tells you the primary audience. Valentine's Day drives this product. Clayton's repeat purchases are the proof.
Outside of February, it works for daughters' birthdays where the teddy changes the tone of the gift entirely, International Women's Day, and those thinking of you moments where you want the delivery to feel like an event rather than a single stem arriving at the door. For apologies, the combination works because it shows layers of thought. A solo rose can feel like minimum effort depending on the context. Adding chocolates and a teddy shifts the message.
If you want roses without the extras, our roses range starts at $42.95 for a single stem. The Single Rose With Chocolates at $60.50 drops the teddy but keeps the chocolate. For a bigger flower gift without the add ons, the Florist's Choice Bright Mixed at $79.95 gives you a full bouquet in four sizes.
"Florists are trained to think in vase life. Seven days, ten days, two weeks. Everything we do is about making the flowers last longer. But a gift set like this rewrites that equation entirely. The rose might go ten days. The chocolates go in one sitting. But the teddy? That's still on a nightstand a year from now. I never thought about it that way when I was making arrangements. You're so focused on the flowers being perfect that you forget the soft toy outlasts everything else in the delivery by months."
Delivery
Your rose, chocolates, and teddy are assembled and hand delivered by a real, local florist from our network. Not posted. Not shipped from a warehouse. Made fresh and delivered on the day you choose.
Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. The actual cost of getting a florist to hand deliver to a specific address is often higher, but we absorb the difference.
Same day delivery if you order before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays. Those cutoffs exist because the florist needs time to source the rose, prepare the wrap, package the extras, and route the delivery while the flower is still at its freshest.
No Sunday deliveries. Flower markets close Saturday afternoon. Any florist delivering on a Sunday is working with Friday stock. We'd rather be upfront about that than send a rose that's already two days old.
