Blue Mist Bunch

Same Day Delivery
$80.95

> Vase not included.

True blue. Not dyed, not tinted, not sprayed. White roses, white oriental lilies, and genuine blue delphinium, one of the few flowers in nature that produces real blue. Anna (who works for us) says the people who receive unexpected blue flowers remember them, and the satisfaction rate on blue arrangements is some of the highest she's seen. The delphinium scatters blue through the white like light through a window. Lily buds keep opening for two weeks after the roses and delphinium are done. From $80.95 in four sizes up to Extra Large (+$45), hand tied and delivered same day by a partner florist. $16.95 delivery. Order before 2pm weekdays.

Description

White roses, white oriental lilies, and blue delphinium with white filler flowers and mixed foliage, hand tied and delivered by a partner florist on the day. From $80.95 with same day delivery if you order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. Vase not included.

The photo shows the Premium size (+$31). Your bunch will follow the same blue and white colour palette. Individual flower types and exact shades may vary depending on what's freshest at market on the day. The vase shown is for display purposes and is not included.

What's In The Bunch

Blue and white. Cream white roses with soft rolled petals, white oriental lilies with large open blooms and tight buds still to come, and blue delphinium spikes threading through the whole arrangement with individual florets that scatter the blue across the bunch like someone flicked a paintbrush. Small clusters of white filler flowers soften the gaps. Mixed green foliage fills the base.

The blue is genuine. Not dyed, not tinted, not sprayed. Delphinium is one of the few cut flowers that produces a natural true blue. Most "blue" flowers in floristry are actually purple or violet marketed as blue. These are the real thing. That cornflower blue, clear and bright, sitting against the white roses and lilies creates a contrast you rarely see in a florist's arrangement because the ingredient is genuinely uncommon.

Caroline ordered this bunch for her niece who had just had her first baby. The reaction was "Wow! The bouquet was beautiful." Rachel described ordering "with confidence" and her friend "was delighted." Johannes simply said "absolutely great." When three separate reviewers from three separate months all land on strong positive language, the bunch is doing its job consistently.

30th In The Range

This bunch sits 30th in sales over the past twelve months. Anna worked as a florist for more than fifteen years, sourcing and conditioning stems across two countries, and she knows exactly why blue flowers occupy a particular place in the market.

A Anna Qualified Florist, 15+ Years

"Blue is the colour people search for but don't always buy. They type 'blue flowers' because they want something different, something that isn't pink or red or yellow. Then they see it and hesitate because it doesn't look like what they expect flowers to look like. We're conditioned to associate flowers with warm colours. Blue feels cool, almost architectural. So the people who actually buy blue flowers tend to be very intentional about it. They're choosing blue for a reason. Maybe they know the recipient's favourite colour. Maybe they're matching a room. Maybe they just want to send something nobody else would think of. Thirtieth in the range because blue asks more of the buyer than pink does. But the satisfaction rate on blue arrangements is some of the highest I've seen. People who receive unexpected blue flowers remember them."

Sizing

Four sizes. Standard starts at $80.95. Deluxe adds extra stems for $6 more. Premium at +$31 is the one in the photo, fuller with more delphinium spikes giving a denser scatter of blue. Extra Large at +$45 is a generous arrangement with real visual weight.

Vase is not included. We sell flowers with vases separately. For blue and white, a clear glass vase is the obvious choice because it stays neutral. But a navy or dark blue ceramic can extend the blue palette downward and give the whole arrangement a more grounded, deliberate feel.

Who Sends This One

Caroline sent it for a new baby. Blue and white for a newborn boy is a classic association, but this bunch doesn't lean into baby pastels. It's bold enough to suit anyone. Raymond sent it for "a special occasion" and the flowers "were delivered on the day I ordered them." Same day delivery matters for occasions with a fixed date.

For birthday flowers for him, blue is the colour most men feel comfortable receiving. The delphinium gives it structure and the white roses keep it from feeling sparse. Father's Day works for the same reason. Anniversaries can lean into blue if the couple has a connection to the colour, and a blue and white bunch at a graduation stands out in a sea of pink and red.

Pamela called them "happy flowers." Dani was "happy with the customer care service." Kim confirmed "deliveries are on the day requested and the quality and appearance are very good." Kim has ordered multiple times. Repeat buyers on a blue product reinforce what Anna said. The audience is intentional and loyal.

The blue and white palette also suits sympathy for the home when the recipient would appreciate something less traditional than all white. For a more conventional white sympathy arrangement, our sympathy white flowers range covers that. For thinking of you and just because, blue reads as thoughtful because it's clearly a deliberate choice.

This bunch contains white oriental lilies. Lilies are toxic to cats. If the recipient has cats, browse our blue flowers range for lily free alternatives, or consider our Bright Mixed Gerberas at $80.75.

The Delphinium

Delphinium is the architectural element. Where roses and lilies sit round and full in the centre, delphinium spikes reach upward and outward, breaking the dome shape that most bunches naturally form. The individual blue florets are loosely spaced along each spike, which creates that scattered blue "mist" effect the name refers to. It's not a solid block of blue. It's blue distributed through the arrangement like light through a window.

A Anna Qualified Florist, 15+ Years

"Delphinium is a florist's favourite and a florist's headache at the same time. The colour is irreplaceable. There is genuinely nothing else at market that does what delphinium does in terms of natural true blue. But the stems are more delicate than roses or lilies. They don't tolerate heat well. They drink a lot of water and they can wilt within hours if they've been out of water during transport. A good florist conditions delphinium for longer than other stems before it goes into an arrangement. They know it needs extra hydration time. When delphinium arrives fresh and properly conditioned, it holds for seven to ten days. When it hasn't been treated with care, it goes limp by day three. The quality of the delphinium in your bunch tells you everything about the florist who built it."

Rachel's review mentioned she could "write a note to the recipient and leave detailed instructions for delivery as you place the order." If you're sending blue flowers to someone who might not expect them, a card message explaining the colour choice adds a personal layer. The card is the first thing the recipient reads before they look at the flowers.

For a blue arrangement with different flower types, browse our full blue flowers range. For white with green accents instead of blue, the Gorgeous Whites at $80.95 offers a similar tonal approach with green chrysanthemums as the accent colour. For something the florist picks entirely, our florist's choice range gives them creative freedom with whatever's freshest.

Care

When the bunch arrives, unwrap it, trim all stems at a forty five degree angle with sharp scissors, and strip every leaf below the waterline. Room temperature water for the first fill, about two thirds of the vase. Change it every two to three days.

The delphinium drinks fast. Check the water level daily and top up between changes. If the delphinium starts to wilt before the other flowers, cut another centimetre off the stem base and put it in fresh water. Sometimes a fresh cut is all it needs to recover.

Remove the lily pollen anthers from each bloom as it opens, before the pollen starts to powder. It prevents stains and extends the bloom by three or four days. The lily buds will keep opening over seven to fourteen days, building fragrance as the week progresses. If the scent becomes too strong, move the vase to a larger room.

The roses will last seven to ten days. The delphinium holds for seven to ten when properly conditioned. The lily buds are the long game, continuing well past two weeks. As the roses and delphinium start to fade, pull them out. The lilies will carry the vase on their own for the final stretch.

Delivery

Your bunch is hand tied and delivered by a real partner florist from our network of 800+ across Australia. We've coordinated deliveries through this network since 2009. Made fresh on the day from market stock and hand delivered to the door.

Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. The actual cost of getting a florist to hand deliver to a specific address is often higher, but we absorb the difference.

Same day delivery if you order before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays. Raymond's flowers "were delivered on the day I ordered them." Kim confirmed "deliveries are on the day requested." No Sunday deliveries. Flower markets close Saturday afternoon.

Need to change something after ordering? Email [email protected], call us on 1300 360 469 (Mon to Fri, 7am to 6pm, Sat 7am to 12pm), or use live chat. If something isn't right with the delivery, get in touch within 24 hours with a photo and we'll sort it out.

Substitution Policy

White roses and white oriental lilies are available year round. The delphinium is the variable. Blue delphinium is widely grown but it's more seasonal than roses or lilies and more sensitive to transport conditions. During peak availability the florist will have multiple grades to choose from. During tighter weeks they may have fewer stems or switch to a closely related blue flower like blue iris or blue thistle to maintain the blue and white palette. The florist will always prioritise natural blue over dyed alternatives. Any substitution will be of equal or greater value and will preserve the blue and white colour contrast that defines this arrangement. If you specifically want delphinium and nothing else, call us on 1300 360 469 and we'll confirm availability with the florist before the order ships.

Reviews

Flowers were appreciated - much smaller bunch than I thought. It was easy enough to navigate and order on but when you’re ordering internationally, it would be nice to know if you need me to provide a delivery window. I ordered during the night in Australia (daytime US) and when the flowers still hadn’t been delivered by 2pm I then needed my sister to call and find out what was going on. She was told “no delivery time was given” however that wasn’t even an option during the order process. Also even ordering the largest bunch possible they were still dwarfed by flowers purchased directly locally which were 1/2 the price. Order ref: 583711
The bunch of flowers I ordered were the same colour flowers but looked nothing like what I ordered. Won't be using this service again.
Happy flowers. Easy to navigate - flowers delivered to recipient - flowers looked lovely. Order ref: 583468
Online ordering with confidence. The website ordering system was clear, quick and easy to use. The photographs of the floral arrangements were very helpful as was the option to enhance the gift. You can write a note to the recipient and leave detailed instructions for delivery as you place the order. My friend was delighted with her bunch of flowers. Love being able to order with a local business. Order ref: 582651
Happy with the customer care service. Quick and easy. Helpful and offers a good overview. Clear. Order ref: 582425
Flowers order online. Easy to use but they should provide a tracking number, reasonable price. Order ref: 572985
