Description
Red hydrangea, pink oriental lilies, preserved oak leaves, and red hypericum berries arranged and delivered in a glass vase by a partner florist on the day. $112.00 including the vase. Same day delivery if you order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays.
This is a single size product at $112.00. The vase is included. Your arrangement will follow the same rich red, pink, and brown Christmas palette. The exact flower types and foliage may vary depending on seasonal availability.
What's In The Arrangement
A red hydrangea head fills the centre, large and dense with dozens of individual florets packed into a single cluster. Pink oriental lilies rise above, one or two blooms with darker pink speckling and tight buds still to open through the week. Preserved brown oak leaves frame the arrangement, curled at the edges with that dried autumn texture that reads immediately as Christmas in Australia. Red hypericum berry clusters sit between the flowers. Smaller pink and red blooms fill the gaps. All of it arranged in a clear glass vase, already in water, ready to place on the table the moment it arrives.
This is the vase version of our Christmas Bunch at $99.95. Same Christmas palette. Same flowers. The difference is the vase and the convenience. The Christmas Bunch arrives hand tied with a ribbon as a presentation bouquet. This one arrives arranged, in water, ready to display with no effort from the recipient.
Our reviewer said it plainly: "My daughter in law was delighted with the flowers, she thought the colours were beautiful. She has just moved house so the vase was particularly appreciated." Someone who has just moved house doesn't have a vase unpacked and ready. This product solves that problem before the recipient even knows they had it.
Deep In The Range
This product sits near the bottom of the annual sales range. Anna has over fifteen years of professional floristry behind her, from building Christmas arrangements under holiday deadline pressure to understanding why seasonal vase products behave differently from their hand tied counterparts.
"Two versions of the same Christmas arrangement is a problem most customers won't realise they're navigating. They search for Christmas flowers, they find the hand tied version, and they buy it because it appears first or because it's $12 cheaper. They never see this page. The customers who do land here have either searched specifically for Christmas flowers with a vase, or they've seen the hand tied version and come looking for the vase option. Both paths are narrower than the original. And then there's the seasonal compression on top of that. A four to six week selling window for an already niche variant means the total addressable audience in any given year is tiny. But the product itself is actually the better gift for most situations. A presentation bouquet requires the recipient to have a vase, to unwrap the ribbon, to trim the stems, to arrange the flowers themselves. This one requires nothing. The person who thought to send the vase version has considered what happens after the knock on the door, not just the knock itself."
The Price
$112.00. Single size, no options. Flowers, vase, arranged, delivered.
The Christmas Bunch without a vase starts at $99.95 for Standard and goes to $139.95 at Premium. This product sits between those two price points and includes the vase. The glass vase accounts for the $12 difference from the Standard Christmas Bunch, and the arrangement arrives ready to display rather than requiring a separate container.
The reviewer described the company as "excellent to deal with" and "efficient" with "a good range of options." At $112 for a complete Christmas gift that arrives arranged in a vase, the value proposition is clear. Nothing else to buy. Nothing else to do.
Vase is always included. Always glass. The exact shape may vary slightly by partner florist.
Order before 2pm weekdays for same day delivery.
Who Sends This One
The reviewer sent it to a daughter in law who had just moved house. That's the use case this product was built for. When you don't know whether the recipient has a vase. When you can't be sure they've unpacked the kitchen. When you want the gift to arrive complete and require absolutely nothing from the person receiving it.
Christmas is the primary occasion. This arrangement says Christmas from across the room. The red hydrangea, the preserved oak leaves, the berry clusters. No ambiguity about the season.
For housewarming gifts during the holiday season, this is the product that covers both occasions in one delivery. Flowers for the new home, a vase to keep, and a Christmas acknowledgment all in one. For thank you gifts at the end of the year, the seasonal design adds timeliness to the gratitude. For December birthdays, the Christmas palette celebrates both the season and the milestone.
For interstate family you can't visit over Christmas, this arrives at the door arranged and ready. No instructions needed. No phone call to explain what to do with the wrapping. The recipient puts it on the table and it's done.
This bunch contains oriental lilies. Lilies are toxic to cats. If the recipient has cats, browse our Christmas hampers for lily free gift options.
For the same flowers without a vase in three sizes, our Christmas Bunch starts at $99.95. For a non seasonal arrangement with a vase, our Bright Bunch With Vase at $99.95 delivers bold colour year round. For Christmas with wine, our Oriental Bunch and White Wine at $98.90 pairs lilies with a bottle. Browse our red flowers range for more options.
Hydrangea In A Vase
"Hydrangea is the one flower where the vase version is meaningfully better than the hand tied version. A hand tied hydrangea bouquet relies on the recipient getting it into water fast, and getting the water deep enough to cover the stem properly. Hydrangea drinks at a rate that would empty a shallow vase overnight. When it arrives already arranged in a deep glass vase with water at the right level, the florist has solved the biggest risk of failure before the gift even reaches the door. I've seen beautifully built hand tied hydrangea arrangements wilt within hours because the recipient set them down, went to make a cup of tea, and didn't get around to putting them in water for forty minutes. Forty minutes. That's all it takes for a hydrangea head to collapse. In the vase, it's already hydrated, already supported, already safe. For hydrangea specifically, the extra $12 for the vase version isn't a convenience premium. It's an insurance policy."
The preserved oak leaves will last indefinitely. The hypericum berries hold for two to three weeks. The lily buds open sequentially over seven to fourteen days. The hydrangea, kept properly hydrated in the vase, holds for seven to ten days. The arrangement as a whole evolves through the Christmas period rather than peaking on day one.
Care
The flowers arrive in the vase, already in water. You don't need to do anything immediately. Check the water level the next morning. Hydrangea drinks heavily and the level may have dropped overnight. Top it up. Keep the vase at least three quarters full at all times.
Change the water every two to three days. When you do, check the hydrangea stem base. If it's soft, trim a centimetre off with a sharp knife and consider a cross cut, splitting the stem vertically for about two centimetres, to increase water uptake.
Remove the lily pollen anthers from each bloom as it opens. Lily pollen stains surfaces and fabric. The fragrance will build as buds open through the first week.
Keep the vase in a cool spot away from direct afternoon sun and away from heaters. Christmas in Australia is summer. Air conditioning helps the arrangement last longer. If the hydrangea head starts to wilt, mist it directly with a spray bottle. The petals absorb water through their surface.
The preserved oak leaves require no care. They hold their colour and shape indefinitely and can be kept as a Christmas memento long after the fresh flowers are finished.

Delivery
Your arrangement is built in the vase and delivered by a real partner florist from our network of 800+ across Australia. We've coordinated deliveries through this network since 2009. The florist packages the vase for safe transport and delivers to the door.
Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. Delivering a glass vase arrangement during Christmas week requires extra care and the actual cost is often higher, but we absorb the difference.
Same day delivery if you order before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays. Christmas Eve is a Saturday most years, so the 10am cutoff applies. Order early during Christmas week. The partner florist network is at peak volume and earlier orders get priority scheduling.
No Sunday deliveries. No Christmas Day deliveries. If Christmas falls on a Sunday, order for delivery on the Saturday before.
Need to change something after ordering? Email [email protected], call us on 1300 360 469 (Mon to Fri, 7am to 6pm, Sat 7am to 12pm), or use live chat. If something isn't right with the delivery, get in touch within 24 hours with a photo and we'll sort it out.

Substitution Policy
Christmas week puts the heaviest demand of the year on red and seasonal flower stock. Red hydrangea supply tightens when every florist in Australia is building Christmas arrangements from the same market pool. If red hydrangea isn't available, the florist may substitute with a large cluster of red roses or red carnations to maintain the volume and colour at the centre. Pink oriental lilies are reliably available. The preserved oak leaves are sourced separately from fresh flowers and may be replaced with other preserved or dried foliage in brown or burgundy tones if unavailable. The red hypericum berries may be substituted with red ilex berries or similar seasonal berries. The glass vase is always included. What the florist protects is the Christmas character: red, pink, and brown with preserved elements, seasonal berries, and the arrangement delivered ready to display. Any substitution will be of equal or greater value. Call 1300 360 469 if you have preferences.
