Description
Coral pink carnations and cream white roses with broad green foliage, hand tied and delivered by a partner florist on the day. From $80.95 with same day delivery if you order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. Vase not included.
The photo shows the Premium size (+$31). Your bunch will follow the same coral pink and cream white colour palette. Individual shades may vary depending on what's freshest at market on the day. The vase shown is for display purposes and is not included.
What's In The Bunch
Two flowers. That's it. Coral pink carnations and cream white roses with green foliage wrapping the base. No filler, no baby's breath, no decorative extras. The simplicity is the point. Every stem in this bunch is a feature stem. Nothing is hiding behind something else.
The colour pairing is specific. Not red and white, which reads as romantic or Christmas depending on the month. Not pink and pink, which blurs together. Coral and cream. The warmth of the carnation sits against the coolness of the rose and each one makes the other look better for the contrast. The broad green foliage frames it without competing.
This bunch ranks in the middle of our range for sales volume, not the top ten, not the bottom. Anna has opinions about why that aren't theoretical. She worked the bench for more than fifteen years, building arrangements from 4am market runs through to the last delivery of the day, and she knows what sells in volume versus what sells to a specific kind of buyer.
"Two flower bunches scare some florists because there's nowhere to hide. A mixed arrangement with six types, you can pad it. One stem is a bit short, tuck it behind the lily. One gerbera is past its best, the lisianthus covers it. With two flowers, every single stem is visible. The customer sees everything. So the florist has to pick quality across every stem, not just the hero flowers. This bunch doesn't sell in the same volume as the mixed arrangements because most people instinctively reach for variety. They want colour, complexity, lots of different textures. But the people who choose this one know what they're after. They want clean, classic, and well made. The premium carnations have tight, dense heads with two hundred plus petals per bloom. The cheap ones have sixty and they look thin in the vase. The customer can't always tell from a photo, but they can absolutely tell when they're holding them. A bunch like this, where there's nothing to hide behind, forces the florist to buy at the top of the grade. Simple done well beats complex done average."
Jennifer called her bunch "absolutely beautiful" and said "the recipient loved them." Helen described "beautiful flowers delivered on time." The anonymous reviewer "loved the website and the delivery was on the day that I requested." The reviews for this product are consistently positive and consistently short. People don't feel the need to explain why they liked it. They just did.
A Note About The Photo
Sabine made a fair point in her review. "Bit disappointed tho that the most expensive bunch was pictured with the lowest price, which I wasn't made aware of until I went through the payment process." She's right that the photo shows the Premium size (+$31) while the starting price is $80.95 for Standard. We show the Premium because it best represents how the bunch looks at its fullest. Standard follows the same colour palette and style with fewer stems. We know this can feel misleading and we've added a note above the photo to be upfront about it. If you want to see what Standard or Deluxe typically looks like, call 1300 360 469 and the team can describe the difference in stem count.
Sizing
Four sizes. Standard starts at $80.95. Deluxe adds extra stems for $6 more. Premium at +$31 is the one in the photo, with noticeably more of both roses and carnations. Extra Large at +$45 is a generous bunch with real presence.
With only two flower types, the size difference is more visible than in a mixed bunch. More stems means a fuller, rounder shape. Fewer stems means a slightly looser arrangement. Both look good, but the visual impact scales more directly with size on this product than on a six flower arrangement where the complexity carries the look.
Vase is not included. We sell flowers with vases separately.

Who Sends This One
April ordered this as a "sympathy flower arrangement" and noted it was "delivered promptly and recipient loved the freshness of the flowers." The coral and cream palette works for sympathy in a way that pure white sometimes doesn't. White can feel stark in a home. The warm coral softens it. It acknowledges grief without making the room feel like a chapel.
For sympathy flowers for the home this is a strong choice. For funeral delivery, add the venue and service time in the notes so the florist can coordinate timing. Browse our sympathy roses or sympathy white flowers if you want a more traditional palette.
The no scent, no lily profile makes this suitable for hospital wards and safe for homes with cats. Carnations and roses are both non toxic to cats.
Beyond sympathy, the coral and cream palette suits Mother's Day, International Women's Day, milestone birthdays like a 70th or 80th where elegance matters, and housewarming gifts where something neutral complements any interior.
Longevity
This is one of the longest lasting bunches in the range. Both flowers are endurance performers.
"Roses and carnations together is an honesty test for a florist because both last long enough for the customer to really judge the quality. A cheap arrangement with delicate flowers fades before anyone notices the corners that were cut. This bunch sticks around. The carnations will comfortably go two weeks with basic care. The roses, depending on the grade and conditions, seven to twelve days. By day ten, the roses may be softening but the carnations will still have structure and colour. Pull the tired roses and the carnations carry the vase on their own. I've always thought that's a better outcome than an arrangement where everything collapses at the same time. You get the full display for a week, then a simpler but still attractive carnation bunch for the second week. Two arrangements for the price of one, really."
Care
When the bunch arrives, unwrap it, trim all stems at a forty five degree angle with sharp scissors, and strip every leaf below the waterline. Room temperature water for the first fill, about two thirds of the vase. Change it every two to three days.
Carnations are sensitive to ethylene gas, the kind that ripening fruit gives off. Keep the bunch away from the fruit bowl and off the kitchen bench near bananas or stone fruit. Even a small amount of ethylene can age carnation petals noticeably overnight.
The roses will open further over the first few days. Cream roses show bruising and handling marks more readily than coloured varieties, so trim and place carefully. Once the roses start to soften, remove them. The carnations will carry on for days without them.
Keep out of direct afternoon sun. The coral pink carnation pigment holds reasonably well but the cream roses will yellow at the petal edges in a sunny window.

Delivery
Your bunch is hand tied and delivered by a real partner florist from our network of 800+ across Australia. We've coordinated deliveries through this network since 2009. Made fresh on the day from market stock and hand delivered to the door.
Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. The actual cost of getting a florist to hand deliver to a specific address is often higher, but we absorb the difference.
Same day delivery if you order before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays. No Sunday deliveries. Flower markets close Saturday afternoon.
Trevor's flowers were "delivered on time." Kerry Fay was "happy with your service." The anonymous reviewer's delivery came "on the day that I requested." Consistent, reliable delivery is what the partner florist network is built for.

Substitution Policy
Roses and carnations are two of the most consistently available cut flowers at Australian markets. Colour shade may shift depending on what the grower has that week. The carnations might lean more pink or more salmon. The roses might range from cream to soft ivory. Both will stay within the warm coral and white palette. On the rare occasion a specific shade isn't available, the florist selects the nearest match. Because this bunch has only two flower types, any substitution is more noticeable than in a mixed arrangement, so our florists are particularly careful with colour matching on this product. Any substitution will be of equal or greater value. If you have preferences, call us on 1300 360 469 and the instruction goes directly to the florist.
