I got confused not knowing the words on the card can be written after all the other details have gone through - as I could see nowhere to do so. I was lucky because I phoned Lily's Florist and a lovely man helped me right through the order - thank you!
A Random Call That Changed Everything
Back in 2008, sitting in our little flower shop in Kingscliff, we got this call from someone wanting flowers delivered to their mum in Raleigh. We had to grab the map to find it, tucked there between Urunga and Nambucca Heads. After saying "sorry, we can't help" to literally thousands of similar calls, we finally had our moment. What if we could help? What if we found a local florist near Raleigh who could deliver for us?
That single thought sparked what became Lily's Florist. Today, Raleigh sits right in the sweet spot of our Mid North Coast network, with partner florists from Coffs Harbour down to Taree who know every back road and retirement village in the area.
The Arrangement That Keeps Coming Back
Our Pastel Pink Lilies & Roses Arrangement ($96.90) has this funny history. A partner florist in Bellingen created something similar for a last minute order when their usual suppliers were out of red roses. The customer loved it so much they ordered the same thing three more times that year. Now it's become one of our most popular choices for this region.
Kim from Sydney recently wrote that it was "Easy, well priced and beautiful!" when she sent it to her aunt. But the review that really got us was from Chelsea, who ordered for her sister's funeral when she couldn't make the trip up from Melbourne.
