Description
Yellow Asiatic lilies with green foliage and delicate white filler flowers, hand tied and delivered by a partner florist on the day. From $80.95 with same day delivery if you order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. No fragrance. Vase not included.
The photo shows the Premium size (+$31). Your bunch will follow the same bright yellow colour palette. The number of open blooms versus buds will depend on the stage of the stems available at market on the day. The vase shown is for display purposes and is not included.
What's In The Bunch
Yellow. All of it. Six to eight stems of Asiatic lilies in bright golden yellow, every bloom facing upward with broad flat petals spread wide open. Small clusters of white filler flowers at the base add a soft contrast. Dark green leaves fill the gaps. That's the bunch. One colour, one flower type, total commitment.
These are Asiatic lilies, not oriental. The difference matters and most people don't know it exists. Oriental lilies are the large, fragrant, often speckled blooms you see in white and pink arrangements. Asiatic lilies are a different species entirely. The blooms face upward rather than outward. The petals are broader and flatter. The colours are more saturated. And the big one: Asiatic lilies have no fragrance.
Zero. None. You can put your face right into this bunch and smell nothing but fresh green stems. For some people that's a dealbreaker because they want the scent. For others it's exactly the point.
A Niche Pick
This bunch doesn't rank among our top sellers. Anna has built thousands of arrangements across a career that started in North Carolina and continued on the bench here in Australia. She knows why certain flowers find a smaller audience.
"Yellow flowers have a perception problem. People associate them with friendship, with get well, with 'safe' occasions. They don't think of yellow as bold or striking or luxurious. But a full bunch of yellow Asiatic lilies in a room does something that pink and white can't do. It changes the light. The petals reflect warm tones onto the wall, onto the table, onto everything nearby. I've put yellow lilies on a grey winter reception desk and watched people stop and look. Not because the flowers were unusual. Because the room felt different and they couldn't figure out why. The people who order this bunch tend to know exactly what yellow does in a space. They're choosing it deliberately, and they're usually right."
Pasquale has "used several times and reliable great service. And value for money." Repeat ordering on a product like this tells you the audience is loyal. They found what they wanted and they come back for it.
Sizing
Three sizes on this one. Standard at $80.95. Deluxe adds extra stems for $6 more. Premium at +$31 is the one in the photo, fuller with more blooms open.
No Extra Large option on this product. If you want maximum impact with yellow, the Premium gives you the fullest version available.
Vase is not included. We sell flowers with vases separately. For yellow lilies, a clear glass vase shows the green stems and keeps the focus on the colour. A white ceramic works too. Avoid warm toned vases like terracotta because they'll compete with the yellow. A dark vase, navy or charcoal, creates a dramatic contrast if you want the yellow to really pop.

Who Sends This One
Adrian Arnold phoned his order through because he "had a couple of questions that weren't answered by the website." That's fine. Call 1300 360 469 and the team in Armidale will talk you through anything. He noted "good customer service and courteous staff" and the website was "well laid out and easy to navigate." Sometimes you just want to hear a voice before committing, especially when the choice is less conventional.
Get well is a natural fit. Yellow reads as optimistic without being intense, and the zero fragrance makes this one of the best options for hospital delivery. No scent restrictions to worry about. No pollen if the anthers are removed on arrival. Clean and bright in a clinical environment.
Thinking of you is another strong use. Yellow says warmth without romantic implication, which makes it versatile for friends, family, colleagues. For birthday flowers for him, the bold single colour and the architectural shape of Asiatic lilies land differently than a pastel mix. Father's Day, Easter, and housewarming all suit yellow.
For a yellow mixed arrangement with more flower types, browse our yellow flowers range. For lilies with fragrance, our Oriental Lilies Bunch at $80.75 delivers the classic scented white lily. For something the florist selects entirely, our florist's choice range gives them full creative freedom.
Asiatic vs Oriental
Knowing the difference helps you choose the right bunch for the right situation.
"Most customers say 'lilies' and mean the big fragrant white ones. Those are orientals. These Asiatics are a completely different flower in practice. They bloom faster after cutting, often within a day or two of arriving. The blooms are smaller individually but there are more of them per stem, so the visual density is higher. They don't release volatile organic compounds the way orientals do, which is why they have no scent. For hospitals, aged care, offices, anywhere that fragrance is a concern, Asiatics are the lily you want. I used to keep Asiatics and orientals in separate buckets at the shop and the Asiatics always sold to people who'd had lilies before and knew the difference. First time lily buyers went for orientals because of the scent. Repeat buyers came back for Asiatics because of the longevity and the ease."
Troy said it simply. "Great flowers, prompt delivery." Billy called it "great service." Linda said "easy to order and on time." The reviews are short because the product is straightforward. Yellow lilies, delivered, exactly what was expected. There's something to be said for a bunch that doesn't need explaining.
Care
When the bunch arrives, unwrap it, trim all stems at a forty five degree angle with sharp scissors, and strip every leaf below the waterline. Room temperature water for the first fill, about two thirds of the vase. Change it every two to three days.
Asiatic lily anthers carry yellow pollen that stains. Remove the anthers from each bloom as it opens, pinching them off before the pollen starts to powder. On yellow flowers the pollen is less visually obvious than on white varieties but it still transfers to fabric and surfaces. Removing the anthers also extends each bloom by a few days.
Any buds on the stems will continue opening after delivery. Asiatics open faster than orientals, usually within one to two days of cutting. The bunch may arrive with some tight buds that will bloom by the next morning. Keep the vase in a bright room with indirect light and the buds will open more evenly.
These lilies are toxic to cats. Every part of the plant, including pollen, leaves, petals, and vase water. If the recipient has cats, choose a lily free option. Our Bright Mixed Gerberas at $80.75 or daisies range are safe alternatives.

Delivery
Your bunch is hand tied and delivered by a real partner florist from our network of 800+ across Australia. We've coordinated deliveries through this network since 2009. Made fresh on the day from market stock and hand delivered to the door.
Delivery is $16.95 Australia wide. That fee is subsidised. The actual cost of getting a florist to hand deliver to a specific address is often higher, but we absorb the difference.
Same day delivery if you order before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays. Linda's flowers were "on time." Troy got "prompt delivery." No Sunday deliveries. Flower markets close Saturday afternoon.
Need to change something after ordering? Email [email protected], call us on 1300 360 469 (Mon to Fri, 7am to 6pm, Sat 7am to 12pm), or use live chat. If something isn't right with the delivery, get in touch within 24 hours with a photo and we'll sort it out.

Substitution Policy
This is a single flower type product. Yellow Asiatic lilies are widely available at Australian flower markets but the exact shade of yellow can vary from pale lemon to deep gold depending on the variety and the season. The florist will select the strongest, freshest stems available on the day. On the rare occasion yellow Asiatics aren't at market, the florist may use a closely related LA hybrid lily in yellow, which crosses Asiatic and Longiflorum genetics and looks almost identical with the same upward facing bloom shape and no fragrance. Any substitution will be of equal or greater value. If you have a strong preference for a particular shade of yellow, call us on 1300 360 469 and we'll pass it to the florist.
