Same Day Delivery - Padstow Wide
Andrew's mate Glen Hughes lived in Padstow when they were kids. Every few months there'd be a sleepover, Andrew would get dropped off on a Friday arvo and wouldn't come home until Sunday. They'd spend the whole weekend doing whatever kids did back then. Riding bikes around the neighbourhood, staying up way too late, eating whatever Glen's mum put in front of them. Those quiet suburban streets with the brick houses and big backyards. Padstow had that feel.
Funny thing about suburbs like that. They stick with you even decades later. Andrew still remembers the route from Glen's place to the park. The corner shop. The way the streets all looked kind of the same but somehow you always knew where you were. It's one of those Sydney suburbs that doesn't get talked about much but the people who grew up there, or had mates who did, they know exactly what it's like.
Now we send flowers to Padstow through our partner florist network. Different context obviously. But when an order comes through for a Padstow address, there's a familiarity to it. We know those streets. We know the vibe.
We've got over 800 partner florists across Australia now. Started with one brave florist in Murwillumbah back in 2009 who took a chance on us when we pitched our idea with a baby crawling around her shop floor. Some of our partnerships go back to 2010, 2011. The florists covering the Bankstown and Canterbury area have been with us for years.
They're not employees. We don't tell them what to do. They're independent florists with their own shops who've agreed to work with us because it benefits both sides. We send them orders, they make beautiful flowers, customers get fresh arrangements delivered by people who actually know the area.
Every morning they open up their shop, check what stock came in fresh overnight, and start filling orders. Your Padstow flowers get made by someone who does this for a living, who trained for it, who chose it as their career. Not someone on a production line in a warehouse. A proper florist with proper skills.
That relationship matters to us. We've learned over the years that treating our partners well means they do better work. Simple really.
Graduation flowers are a big one for Padstow. Families celebrating kids finishing year 12, or coming out of uni, or completing a trade. It's that kind of suburb where education matters and achievements get celebrated properly. Bright colours work well for these. Yellows, purples, something that matches the excitement.
Romance flowers aren't just for Valentine's Day. Plenty of couples in Padstow surprising each other on random Tuesdays. Anniversary of when they met. First date callback. Or just because they walked past a flower shop and thought of them. Red roses obviously but we do mixed arrangements too for people who want something less predictable.
And thank you flowers get ordered more than you'd think. For the neighbour who grabbed the bins while you were away. The teacher who went above and beyond. The family friend who helped with the move. Padstow has that community thing where people actually know each other and want to say thanks properly.
Most people spend around $85 to $90 but there's options from around $55 if you're keeping it simple.
Order before 2PM on a weekday and your flowers arrive same day. Our partner florist makes them fresh that morning and gets them to the door that afternoon.
You can order online, works fine on your phone if you're doing it last minute in a panic. Or call us on 1300 360 469 if you'd rather talk to someone. Our team's in Armidale, all Australian, no offshore call centres. They've been trained properly and can help you pick something if you're stuck.
Chuck in chocolates or a teddy bear if you want to make it bigger. The teddy bears are weirdly popular actually. Balloons too for birthdays and celebrations.
We've got over 22,000 verified reviews on Feefo and won their Trusted Service Award in 2024 and 2025. Independent platform, can't fake it, can't delete the bad ones. Real feedback from real customers. That's how we know we're doing alright.
Still a Mum and Dad business after 17 years. Glen would probably find it funny that the kid who used to crash at his place in Padstow now runs a flower delivery network. Life takes weird turns sometimes.
