My name is Siobhan, I own Lily's Florist with my partner Andrew, and after six years of driving kids to netball at Mudgeeraba, basketball at Carrara, and school across two different campuses, we know these roads properly. Benowa sits right in the middle of our regular Friday route, that stretch between the M1 and Ashmore where the traffic finally eases and you can actually breathe for a minute.

The Feefo Reviews

Here's the thing about flowers. They're subjective. Three people can look at the same bouquet and see three completely different things. One person's lush is another person's over the top. So when we partnered with Feefo back in 2019, we knew we were taking a risk.

How We Got Here

We bought a florist and gift shop in Kingscliff in 2006. No flower experience, a baby on the way, and our accountant told us point blank not to do it. We ignored him. The previous owner had just taken out a Yellow Pages ad, the actual book, and suddenly we were getting 40 calls a day for flower deliveries to places we couldn't service. Murwillumbah. Coolangatta. Towns we'd never even heard of.

After months of saying sorry, we had an idea. Find florists in those areas, ask them to make the flowers for us, no membership fees, just a small commission covered by adding extra stems to each bouquet. The first florist we approached, out in Murwillumbah, said yes. Then Byron Bay. Then it snowballed.

By 2009 we'd built Lily's Florist as a brand and gone fully online. Today we work with over 800 partner florists, but we're still the same Mum and Dad making decisions at the dinner table. No boardroom, no marketing team, no offshore call centre. Just us, the kids, and a lot of driving.
