Same Day Delivery - Bungalow Wide
Sending flowers to Bungalow has been part of our story since 2008, when we were still running our florist shop in Kingscliff. Back then, we'd get calls from locals asking us to send flowers to family and friends in Bungalow, and like many of the areas we now service, those calls helped shape what Lily's Florist would become. We were just a Mum and Dad with a baby in tow, trying to make it work from a daggy old florist shop on Marine Parade that looked like it hadn't been updated since 1979. Read more about our story and how we ended up delivering flowers to FNQ.

* Our shop on Marine Parade, Kingscliff. We bought it in 2006, knew nothing about flowers, and started getting calls for deliveries to Cairns within the first year. Those calls are the reason we deliver to Bungalow today.
The thing is, we kept getting so many calls for flowers to places like Bungalow that we had a proper light bulb moment. Rather than turning people away, we thought, what if we found local florists in these areas and partnered with them? That simple idea, born from necessity in our tiny Kingscliff shop, eventually grew into the network of over 800 partner florists we work with today across Australia.
This is the single biggest gap. Bungalow sits in tropical FNQ where the humidity creates specific problems for flower delivery that your competitors will never write about because they don't have a qualified florist to explain it. Anna topic A4 (Botrytis and Humidity Management) is a direct fit. Flowers packed tight in Cairns humidity trap moisture against the petals. Dead air pockets promote grey mould (botrytis). Loose wrapping is the fix. This pairs naturally with B9 (structural fillers) because gypsophila drops petals under temperature stress while waxflower's resinous stems handle the tropical fluctuations better for a delivery run from a Cairns florist shop to a Bungalow address.
This section needs Anna's voice explaining why your Cairns partners pack and wrap differently to a florist in Melbourne or Sydney. It proves your network understands regional conditions. No other flower delivery website in Australia will have this content for a Bungalow page.
A customer in Brisbane ordered flowers for her mum in hospital in Cairns.
"I have never ordered online flowers before and was unsure whether they'd be as good as the website photos. My mum has texted me every day sending me photos of the flowers saying she can't believe how beautiful they are, that they have a beautiful fragrance that fills her hospital room and the nurses on every shift comment how lovely they smell. It's been 6 days now and the flowers are still blooming beautiful big and bright. The quality and beauty of the flowers was better than the website and I'm so grateful how much joy they have brought my mum while she's unwell. They weren't cheap but they were worth every cent."
Six days. In a Cairns hospital room.
I showed that review to Anna, who trained as a florist in North Carolina and Kingscliff and has been with us over fifteen years. "Thick petal varieties," she said straight away. "Roses, chrysanthemums, anything with structure that handles humidity. And fragrance still there on day six means every stem was cut clean and the water was changed. A florist who knows Cairns picks for the climate, not just the colour."
Our Cairns partners do this because they live in it. A warehouse in Sydney packs a box and hopes Australia Post gets it there before the heat wins.
Someone else ordered from Norway. "I live in Norway, but thanks to Lily's Florist, my mum, who lives in Cairns, received beautiful, fresh flowers on her birthday." Norway to Cairns. That order went to a real florist shop in the region who made the flowers fresh and delivered by hand.
And this: "Very easy to deal with. Best looking flowers in cairns."
We'll take it.
All these reviews sit on Feefo, an independent platform endorsed by Google. Only customers who've actually order
In 2026, 2025, and 2024, Lily's Florist received a Feefo Trusted Service Award for outstanding customer service. Getting this award isn't easy, especially in the flower industry where beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Feefo is completely independent, they only collect reviews from actual customers who've placed orders, we can't fake it, delete the bad ones, or get our mates to write nice things about us.

* Our third Feefo Trusted Service Award in a row. Every review is from a verified customer who actually ordered flowers, including the Cairns customers whose reviews you can read on this page.
To qualify for the award, a business needs at least 50 customer reviews in 12 months with an average of 4 stars. We received over 3,000 reviews from customers, with 2,406 of those being 4 or 5 stars. That's more than 60 times the minimum required to qualify, which gives us confidence that we're doing something right when it comes to service.
When you order flowers to Bungalow, your order goes to one of our trusted local partner florists who have real shops, hire real staff, and are experts in their field. Our flowers don't come from a warehouse or get posted overnight, they're made by these local experts who take pride in their work. If you ordered 24 red roses to Bungalow and our first choice partner only had 12 left for the day, we'd route your order to the next closest florist who could fulfill it properly. It's that simple, and it works.

* This is how your Bungalow order works. You order, we connect it to a real florist shop in Cairns, they make it fresh and deliver by hand. No warehouse, no Australia Post box arriving three days later in the FNQ heat.
We're still that same Mum and Dad team from Kingscliff, making decisions at the dinner table, dedicated to connecting people through the simple act of giving flowers. The big difference now is that instead of serving just our local area, we can send flowers anywhere across Australia, including to Bungalow QLD.

* Our family in 2026. Siobhan and I started Lily's in Kingscliff when Asha was a baby. We still coordinate 800 plus partners from our dinner table.
