Same Day Delivery - Leichhardt Wide
Look, I have to be upfront about something. My daughter Asha and I are diehard Tigers supporters. Have been for years. So when I write about Leichhardt, there's more going on than just flowers.
Earlier this year we actually flew down for a day trip to watch a game at Leichhardt Oval. Just the two of us, father daughter thing. Got there early, soaked up the atmosphere, grabbed some food from the stands. The Tigers were playing brilliantly. I mean properly brilliantly. We were up by a stack and I turned to Asha around the 70th minute and said something stupid like "this is in the bag." You can probably guess what happened next. In true, absolutely classic, Tigers fashion, they found a way to lose in the 79th minute. The crowd went silent. Asha just looked at me and shook her head. We laughed about it the whole flight home because honestly, what else can you do.
That's Leichhardt though. It has this gritty, loyal, slightly long suffering character. The Italian restaurants on Norton Street, the cafes that have been there forever, the families who've lived in the same terrace houses for three generations. When someone orders flowers to Leichhardt through us, I kind of get it. There's history in that suburb.
Here's the thing about how we work. We don't have a warehouse in Sydney. We don't have vans doing loops around the inner west. Back when we had our little shop in Kingscliff in 2007, we'd get calls constantly for flowers to places like Leichhardt and we'd have to say sorry, can't help.

Then one quiet afternoon, barely $25 in the till for the whole day, we thought hang on. What if we found florists in these areas who could help us out? Not some corporate arrangement with contracts and lawyers. Just a simple deal. We send them orders, they make beautiful flowers, everyone wins.
> More about us
That single idea, tested first with a florist in Murwillumbah with baby Asha in tow who promptly broke a gift on the shop floor, became how we do business. Today we work with over 800 partner florists across Australia. Real florists with real shops. Your order comes in before 2PM on a weekday, it goes straight to our partner florist nearest to Leichhardt, they make it fresh that day with whatever's best in their shop, then deliver it themselves.
No overnight post. No warehouse flowers sitting in a box. Just proper florists doing what they do best.
Leichhardt has loads of young families now, all those terraces getting renovated and filled with kids. We get a stack of new baby flowers going to addresses around the suburb. New parents are exhausted and a surprise delivery on the doorstep, someone thought of them, it means something.
Anniversary flowers are big too. Established couples, been together for years, maybe met at one of those Norton Street restaurants back in the day. Roses are obviously popular but we get plenty of mixed arrangements too. People know what their partner likes.
And honestly, just because flowers might be the most common. No occasion, no special date. Just someone wanting to brighten up a mate's day or surprise their mum or say thanks for something. The inner west has that vibe, people looking out for each other.
Order before 2PM on weekdays and your flowers get there same day. Bouquets start from around $55 and you can chuck in chocolates, a teddy bear, or a bottle of sparkling if you want to go the whole hog.

We've been doing this since 2009. Over 22,000 verified reviews on Feefo, won their Trusted Service Award this year and last. Our call centre is in Armidale, all Australian staff, no offshore nonsense. Anna who answers half the calls has been with us 15 years now.
Still a Mum and Dad business. Still making decisions at the dinner table or driving the kids to netball. Still barracking for the Tigers even when they break our hearts in the 79th minute.
