Same Day Flowers Delivery - Putney Wide
Same day flower delivery to Putney and surrounding inner west Sydney suburbs. Order by 2pm Monday to Friday, 10am Saturdays. Call 1300 360-469 or order online. In 2024, 2025, and 2026 we earned a Feefo Trusted Service Award with 3,025 customer reviews, over 2,400 at 4 or 5 stars. Andrew knows Putney from the water, tinnie days speeding up the Parramatta River from Abbotsford. Funny how life works out.

* We received a trusted Feefo service award in 2026, three years on the trot, we're pretty stoked about that.
Putney sits right on the Parramatta River, established inner west suburb, nice mix of period homes and modern apartments, riverside parks, boat ramps. Close to Ryde, Gladesville, Meadowbank. Proper waterside lifestyle if you're into that.
Andrew grew up in Sydney and lived in Abbotsford for a while, Walton Crescent, 7 story apartment block with a wharf on the ground floor. His mate Dave used to pick him up in his tinnie, they'd speed up the Parramatta River, often ending up at Putney. Swim, fish, mess around, good old days kind of stuff. This was way before flowers, before we bought Kingscliff Florist in 2007, before any of this business existed. Just two blokes in a boat on the Parramatta River.

* This is me and the family. When we say Australian based, 'family business', we mean it!

Now we coordinate flower deliveries to Putney. Life's funny like that, full circle in the strangest ways.
Our partner florists in Ryde, Gladesville, and the inner west suburbs make and deliver your Putney flowers. Real trained florists with actual shops, not warehouses or Australia Post parcels arriving days later. When you order, we send it to whichever partner florist has the right flowers and is closest to your recipient's address. They create the bouquet fresh, deliver same day if you order by 2pm weekdays, 10am Saturdays.
Inner west Sydney deliveries are frequent and reliable, we've been doing this in the area since the early days. Putney has plenty of apartments, not unlike that Abbotsford one Andrew lived in. If your recipient is home, perfect. If not, we leave flowers in a safe spot out of direct sunlight and street view, or we call them to arrange another time. Business addresses typically by 5pm, homes by 6pm.

* I did my best to make this with my, let's say ordinary, design skills. It's supposed to represent what happens when you order flowers through us and what happens when it hits our network of florists in Putney or surrounds.
Phone us as our Armidale NSW team answers, Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm, Saturdays 7am to 12pm. Real people, definitely not offshore.
Putney has a lot of apartments. Older blocks without concierges line the streets off Victoria Road, newer ones closer to Ryde with shared lobbies that get hammered by afternoon sun. When you send flowers to an apartment and nobody answers, what happens next is the whole game.
Most delivery services drop and run. We built a different process because I spent years fielding the calls when that went wrong. "I'd get the call at 4pm," she says. "Someone's husband ordered a surprise, the flowers sat in a locked letterbox bay since 11am, and by the time she got home they were cooked. 30 plus degrees inside those metal boxes on a day that barely hit 24 outside. You can't undo that."
Anna, who spent fifteen years as a qualified florist before moving to our inbound sales and customer service team, explains what happens inside those letterbox bays. "Cut flowers are still metabolising," she says. "They're breathing, losing water through their petals every minute. Trap them in a sealed metal space and the temperature climbs fast. I've seen petals go translucent within 2 hours. By evening, that's an $80 bunch of wilted stems and someone's anniversary ruined."
So our partner florists in Ryde, Gladesville, and the inner west know the drill. They call the recipient. If nobody answers, they find shade, a sheltered spot away from direct sun and street view. Building manager around? They'll try them. One customer put it simply: "My daughter lives in an apartment building so they called her to let her know the flowers were at reception. Faultless."
Another: "Called because nobody home which I thought was great before I assured them it was ok to leave outside."
It adds minutes to every delivery. Siobhan made peace with that years ago. A few extra minutes per drop versus a dead bunch and a refund request. Not a complicated decision.
Rose, Gerbera & Lilies Bunch - $79.95 Mix of roses, gerberas, and lilies, 190 customer reviews on this one. Colorful, full, impressive without being over the top. Perfect for a riverside apartment in Putney, brightens up the space. Some of those inner west apartments can be a bit dark, flowers like this really help.
Beautiful Pastels Bunch - $80.75 Soft elegant pastels throughout, 237 customer reviews so this one's consistently popular. Great for someone with a specific aesthetic in their Putney home. Lots of the older established homes in Putney have that classic inner west style, pastels suit them perfectly. Comes in a vase, ready to display on a dining table or sideboard.
Bright Mixed Gerbera's Bunch - $80.75 Vibrant gerberas, cheerful and unpretentious, 96 reviews. For someone who likes bold color, maybe has a modern apartment or just appreciates happy flowers. Gerberas last well too, proper value for money.
In 2006, Andrew and I were both working in Sydney, living in a Drummoyne apartment, expecting a baby. We left for a sea change, bought Kingscliff Florist in 2007 with zero flower experience. The previous owner had taken out a Yellow Pages ad, suddenly we got calls from everywhere, including inner west Sydney suburbs like Putney, Drummoyne, Gladesville, all over.

* I took this photo in 2006 when we bought Kingscliff Flower Shop. It inspired us to eventually go fully online with flowers just under 4 years later to what would become Lily's Florist.
Those Sydney suburbs became some of our earliest delivery areas when we started partnering with local florists. Strange full circle really. Andrew swimming at Putney in his twenties, now seventeen years later we coordinate flower deliveries there. Still just the two of us running this, no corporate structure, making decisions at the dinner table between school runs.
