Same Day Flowers Delivery - Australia Wide!
Fresh flowers, made by a real florist, delivered to Springfield the same day you order them. A partner florist in or close to the Springfield area will build your arrangement that morning from whatever seasonal stems are at their best and bring it to your door by hand. Order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. Call 1300 360 469 or order online. We're Lily's Florist, Australian family owned since 2006. Delivery is $16.95.
We've built a network of over 800 partner florists across Australia, and for Springfield that means your order goes to someone who knows the Central Coast. I'm Siobhan. Andrew and I have been running this from the same house since 2009, two kids and all. The Central Coast corridor is one we know because my parents Bill and Julie lived up in Taree for years, so we drove through these suburbs more times than I can count. Our full story is here if you want the longer version.
Why native arrangements give you more than a week
A woman from a property outside Kingscliff called me three months after a delivery to say the banksias on her mantelpiece still looked good. That stopped me. Soft flowers do their job in the first week. Ten days if you are lucky. The pods and cones take over from there.
Banksia cones, brunia pods, leucadendron heads. These structural elements evolved to survive fire, drought, and Australian bush conditions that would destroy soft tissue in hours. Once the moisture leaves, the woody structure stays intact. People put them on shelves and sideboards and forget about them for months. Springfield sits right on the edge of Brisbane Water National Park, and a lot of the properties back onto dense eucalyptus canopy. The blocks are larger than your typical Central Coast suburban lot, and most have established native gardens that have been growing in for decades. Natives in an arrangement feel like they belong in that setting. They match it instead of fighting it.
You are giving two gifts when you send natives. A week of fresh colour from the softer stems, then months of something sculptural that just sits there looking good. Most people do not realise that until they see it happen. A partner florist sourcing natives from Flemington Markets early in the day will include pods and hardwood stems that are still on the shelf long after the chrysanthemums or roses have gone.
The freshness of what arrives at your door in Springfield comes down to the supply chain. Stock for the Central Coast comes through Flemington Markets in Sydney, the largest flower market in the country. A partner florist covering the Springfield area drives down, picks stems before dawn, conditions them back at the shop for a couple of hours, then builds your arrangement and delivers. The flowers are hours old when they arrive, not days. That matters more than most people realise, because every hour between the grower and the vase costs longevity.

* How it works. You order, we connect with a partner florist in the Springfield area, they deliver fresh. No post. No boxes.
Springfield backs onto national park and the canopy coverage on most blocks is heavy enough that gardens lean towards shade tolerant plants and muted greens. Flowers that land well in brighter coastal suburbs can look out of place against that backdrop. The right arrangement works with it.
Natives feel right for this area. Banksias, proteas, leucadendrons, gum foliage. They are hardy, they last, and they carry a texture that soft European blooms can't match. Our native flower range is one that Anna recommends for bushland suburbs because the stems handle warm rooms and variable conditions without fading the way roses or lilies might. The bonus is the dried pods that keep looking good for weeks after the fresh flowers have finished.
Birthdays are the one occasion where colour takes priority over everything else. Bright, cheerful, something that lights up a kitchen bench. The florist will build around what looks freshest that morning, and for a birthday, that usually means gerberas, roses, mixed seasonal blooms in pinks, yellows, and oranges. Have a look at our birthday flowers for ideas, but the florist puts their own spin on each one.
No occasion needed. Sometimes the best reason is no reason at all. A bunch of thinking of you flowers arriving at someone's door in Springfield on a Tuesday afternoon says more than most birthday cards do. The florist keeps it simple and warm. Nothing over the top, nothing too formal. Soft colours, seasonal stems, and enough to brighten up a room without overwhelming it.
Let the florist decide. Our Florist's Choice Bunch at $74.50 gives the florist full control over stem selection. They pick what is freshest that morning and build around it. The result is usually better than anything you would pick from a photo because they are working with what is actually available, not what looked good in a studio six months ago. Or start smaller with flowers under $60. Same quality, less volume.

Same day delivery: Order before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays. Those cutoffs exist because the florist needs time to source the stems, condition them, build your arrangement, and fit the delivery into their route. Rushing that process costs vase life, and we would rather give you flowers that last.
No Sunday delivery: Flower markets close Saturday afternoon. A Sunday delivery means using Friday stock, which has already lost days of vase life before it reaches the vase. We would rather be honest about that than offer a service that disappoints.
Delivery fee: $16.95. We subsidise part of the actual delivery cost to keep it reasonable. The real cost of a same day hand delivery in the Springfield area is higher, but we absorb the difference.
This is the kind of review that tells you the florist got both halves right. Speed and longevity in the same delivery.
"Fantastic quality - 1 week later still amazing. Same day delivery was within a couple of hours. Highly recommend!"

A week of vase life from a same day order means the florist conditioned those stems properly before they left the shop. That is the partner florist model working the way it should. Fresh stock, local hands, no warehouse in between.
The reason we route your order to a partner florist rather than shipping from a warehouse is quality. A florist in the Central Coast area sources fresh stock from Flemington first thing, conditions it at their shop, builds your arrangement by hand, and delivers it within hours. That is a completely different product from an arrangement packed in a box interstate and put on a truck.
Once you have placed your order, it goes to a partner florist covering the Springfield area. They confirm the order, source the stems, and get it built and out the door in time. You will receive a confirmation email from us.
If anything is not right with your delivery, contact us within 24 hours with photos of both the front and back of the arrangement. That gives us enough to work with. Email [email protected], call 1300 360 469, or use the live chat on our website. We have sent thousands of orders through the Central Coast. When something needs fixing, we fix it.
