Same Day Flowers Delivery - Australia Wide!
A holiday house with a lockbox, a golf course villa, a room at Estia, the aged-care home in Mount Coolum: most of what Lily's Florist delivers into Yaroomba. In before 2pm on a weekday, our partner florist near Yaroomba makes it that morning and delivers it that afternoon; nobody has to be home if the code or agent's name is in the notes. Pick from our same-day flowers below, or call us and our friendly Australian team takes it down, key safe code and all.
Salt is what shortens a vase this close to the surf.
Humid air is kind to cut flowers. Salt does the damage, and an open surf beach puts it into the air over Yaroomba. It settles on a petal and draws the water out, so a thin petal goes papery at the edges within a couple of days on a deck facing the water. I learned that in a shop near the beach at Kingscliff: the front-window bunches went crisp first.
Waxy surfaces shrug it off. For a front-row house I put gum or grevillea around the outside so the woody stems take the breeze and the soft ones sit sheltered. Roses do beautifully once they are indoors.
Most Yaroomba orders are placed from somewhere else: a holiday house booked for someone, a parent who moved up here, a couple marking a date. Natives suit all three.
You have a beach house off David Low Way booked for the twentieth and you get in after dark, or she gets there first. The flowers need to beat you there. Put the check-in time and the key safe code or agent's name in the notes; a holiday manager signing for anniversary flowers is normal here.
Roses on the dining table, inside, out of the sea breeze. Still open on the last morning of the stay.
You stayed a week in someone's beach house and a text does not cover it. Check where the owner lives; plenty live in Brisbane. In 2008 I took a thank-you bunch to a holiday unit at Salt, near Kingscliff, handed it to the new guests, and they kept it. The owner rang two days later. The owner's name goes on the card now.
Anna's call: waxflower and gum dry in place and still stand a month on.
Someone has died, the family is at the house, and you are three states away. There is no chapel or cemetery in Yaroomba, so most sympathy flowers go to the home, often the week after the service. Put the name of the person you know on the card. "Thinking of you all" is enough. Flowers change nothing, and the family still remembers who sent them.
Whites and creams, on the kitchen bench, where it gets topped up.
Plenty of orders that reach us for this suburb fit none of the headings above. A holiday rental has wine glasses and no vase, and nobody on the first morning is hunting for scissors.
Anna has a view on this. Send a boxed arrangement. The box is the vase, it sits on the bench the way it arrived, and whoever is there tips a glass of water into the foam every couple of days.
More ways in
In before 2pm on a weekday and the florist builds it this morning for this afternoon's run.
Send Birthday Flowers to YaroombaBefore 2pm on a weekday goes out the same day: the florist builds from that morning's stock. After 2pm you pick the date at checkout.
Saturday before 10am; the run is shorter.
No Sunday delivery, except Mother's Day.
Holiday house: lockbox code or the agent's number. Golf course villa: villa number and the gate. Estia in Mount Coolum: resident's full name and wing.
A person, a named neighbour, or a shaded spot with authority to leave. At Estia, reception signs, in our experience. On the road this afternoon.
It goes to a florist in or close to Yaroomba, who builds it that morning. No tracking link: ring 1300 360 469, 7am to 6pm weekdays and from 10am Saturday, and one of our team checks the run. Changes to [email protected]. Looks wrong on arrival? Photo the same day, we fix it.
The bit nobody warns you about is the silence. You've had the email, then nothing, and by four you're wondering. Someone on holiday has left their phone in the car; someone newly widowed isn't ringing anyone (normal, and it took me years to accept that). They got them. Ring us if you want to know.
That's it.
