Same Day Delivery - Mudgeeraba Wide
I spend more time at Mudgeeraba than I probably should admit. My name is Siobhan, I own Lily's Florist with my partner Andrew, and for the past six years our two daughters have played representative netball for HDNA. If you know those courts on Worongary Road, you know the commitment. Saturday mornings, Tuesday training sessions, carnivals that swallow entire weekends. We've watched that place transform recently too, the massive renovation they just completed, everything brand new now, and honestly we were a little surprised it took so long given HDNA has been consistently the best netball association in Queensland for as long as anyone can remember.
Andrew even played mixed opens with our eldest Asha last year. That is, until he came off with a Grade 3 syndesmosis injury and spent the next few months hobbling around feeling very sorry for himself. The things we do for our kids.
When you're at netball as much as we are, you start to know Mudgeeraba properly. The car gets washed at Mudgeeraba Car & Dogwash every few weeks (the car, not Bindi our dog, she gets the hose at home). We know which cafe does the best coffee between games. We know the traffic patterns on a Saturday morning and which back streets to avoid.
All of this matters when it comes to flowers because our partner florists in and around Mudgeeraba know this area the same way we do. They know the suburbs, the estates, the quirks of delivery to different pockets of the Gold Coast hinterland. Your flowers to Mudgeeraba are made by a real florist with a real shop, someone who employs local staff and uses local couriers. Not a warehouse in Brisbane boxing up flowers for Australia Post.

* This is us. Netball Dad Andrew, Ivy, me and Asha - both kids still play for HDNA.
When you order flowers to Mudgeeraba, your order hits our system and gets routed to one of our local partner florists based on the recipient's postcode and what stock they have available that day. If our closest partner only has 12 red roses left and you've ordered 24, the order automatically moves to the next florist who can fulfil it properly. The flowers get made fresh, by hand, and delivered by someone who knows how to find your recipient's address without relying entirely on Google Maps.
Same day delivery is available Monday to Saturday. Get your order in before 2pm on weekdays or 10am on Saturdays and we guarantee delivery that day. Our delivery fee is $16.95, and we subsidise extra costs for most deliveries so you're not hit with surprises at checkout.

We started as a tiny florist and gift shop in Kingscliff back in 2006. We knew nothing about flowers, bought the business against our accountant's advice, with a baby on the way and no retail experience whatsoever. The previous owner had just taken out a Yellow Pages ad, remember those, and suddenly we were drowning in phone calls for flower deliveries to places we couldn't service. Murwillumbah. Coolangatta. Random towns all over Australia.
After months of saying sorry, we can't help, we had a thought. What if we found florists in those areas and asked them to make the flowers for us? No membership fees, just a simple arrangement where they added a few extra stems to cover our small commission. The first florist we approached, in Murwillumbah, said yes. Then Byron Bay. Then the dominoes started falling.
That was 2008. Today we work with over 800 partner florists across Australia, all real shops with real florists, no warehouses, no production lines, no flowers arriving damaged in Australia Post boxes days later. We're still run by the same Mum and Dad who started it, and most of our business decisions still get made at the dinner table or on the drive to netball.

* The shop in Kingscliff when we bought it in 2006, Mudgeeraba kind of has that small town vibe like Kingy.
We partnered with Feefo back in 2013 because we wanted honest feedback, even when it hurt. Feefo is one of the only review platforms where you can only leave a review if you've actually purchased something. We have no control over what gets posted, good or bad.
Holly recently shared that we went to extra effort when she made an error with her delivery address. That's not unusual for us, things go wrong sometimes, addresses get muddled, but our Australian based team is contactable six days a week by phone, email or live chat to sort it out. Another customer described us as polite, helpful and responsive, which is exactly what we train our staff to be. Dale ordered from the States and found the website easy to navigate, his daughter received the flowers on time, job done.
We won Feefo's Trusted Service Award in both 2024 and 2025. To qualify you need at least 50 reviews averaging 4 stars or higher over 12 months. We had over 3,000 verified reviews in that period, with more than 2,400 at 4 or 5 stars.

Mudgeeraba has a mix of everything. Family homes in the established streets, newer estates pushing toward the hinterland, retirement communities, schools. You might be sending flowers for a birthday to someone in one of the quieter pockets near the village, or congratulating new parents who've just come home from Gold Coast University Hospital, or thanking a netball coach at HDNA who's given up countless hours for your kid's team. Sympathy flowers for someone who's lost a loved one. Anniversary flowers for grandparents. Get well flowers for a friend recovering from surgery.
Whatever the occasion, our partner florists prepare arrangements suited to the moment. For hospitals and nursing homes, we recommend our boxed arrangements that don't need a vase and require minimal care. For homes, our florists can deliver stunning bunches or arrangements depending on your budget and the recipient's taste.
Order online before 2pm weekdays or 10am Saturdays for same day delivery. Or call us on 1300 360 469 if you'd rather talk to someone. Our team includes Anna, an ex florist who's been with us for 15 years now, and she genuinely knows what she's talking about.
We're not a faceless online operation. We're a family business that started with one little shop, one brave florist willing to take a chance on us, and a whole lot of stubbornness. Mudgeeraba is part of our weekly routine now, between netball and car washes and everything else, and we're genuinely proud to deliver flowers there.
